when i first played Jeopardized, the amount of spam in the intro TERRIFIED me. i had to beat it in normal mode because i wasnt in the mood to spam. I had opponents notes disabled though, so i was expecting more than there actually was and was gonna exit the song before it even had started tldr: i heard the amount of spam in the intro of jeopardy, got terrified, and nearly left.
25:32 bagel cameo also there's an unused chart in data for imperium (a supposedly scrapped song). it's very broken because it points to mealie assets that are not in the files, it doesn't have the actual song in the files, and it's not even inside a proper folder like the rest of the json files, but it can work with enough determination. there's also unused icons for jeremy in fardpocalypse and denouement in the files, but no actual assets relating to the actual songs
Also you have to rename imperium to “imperium-hard” for it to work completely the real way because you can acess it in the extras and scrolling down but when you tap on it unfixed it says “null object reverence “imperium-hard.json””
Honestly the quality of this mod is impressive considering the quality of V2 was pretty low, but I still have 2 big problems with it. The music absolutely needed a redo, for one. A lot of the tracks are structured almost the exact same, they’re often repetitive, and when they aren’t spam based, they’re never really anything other than fine, besides Dace, Dace is actually pretty good. Later tracks in the story mode aren’t as repetitive and similar to other ones and that’s good, but they still aren’t really tracks I’d want to go back for a replay or listen to again, because Hortas’ spam tracks in general just blend together for me. The other problem comes with the lore. Having the characters be PNGs because that’s the lore honestly feels lazy, and even if it wasn’t the intent when writing them, it does feel like it. It is understandable if the team didn’t want to push their work load, but I think some lore changes with characters who are canonically PNGs should’ve been changed. This also applies to the vocals too, not every character needs to sound like Bambi yet again. Otherwise, I can admire a lot of the effort put in here, it definitely feels like a lot was put in it makes this stand out as much as possible, and I appreciate the charting on Normal being more tame and playable compared to the more accurate Insane charting, even if I think that the spam parts on Normal do generally blend together a lot charting wise. Nice work from the team here.
