@@UltimateDieselTuning hi guys, I've ordered a new PS and the 10yr warranty was a big factor in the decision making, acknowledging the fact the car is slightly underpowered. Is this tune endorsed by Mitsubishi?
If something goes wrong 100% it does void your warranty...do you really think warranty is going to be honoured if you choose to ignore years and thousands spent on factory engineering, research, analysis and testing to override what mitsubishi believe is the best and most efficient tune to release to the public? Neither mitsi, nor these tuning guys will want a bar of you if anything happens. Keep it stock, or consider a different car for your use if you need more power.
@@UltimateDieselTuning - can you provide a link from Mitsubishi acknowledging your statement regarding warranty? I look forward to reading where Mitsubishi are willing to cover broken engines after a tune!
Thanks mate. Yes we do. Although very minimal gains are achieved with one on these engines, it is always a good idea to fit a more free-flowing exhaust system to help the engine's effiiency.
Hi there! Best to please call us on 1800034373 for your pricing as it does vary. Yes it should help fuel economy - most customers report that there has been an improvement in it after the tune.
Manufactures claim their power and torque figures at the engine (flywheel), but figures mentioned here are at the wheels. All vehicles loose energy through the driveline, hence the numbers in the video are what’s left after those driveline losses… which is what you feel on the road. When my Pajero Sport was tuned at this same workshop, my baseline run found 95kw and 322Nm at the wheels. After the tune those increased to 123kw and 422Nm. Some quick math based on Mitsubishi’s claim of 133kw and 430Nm would mean I have approx 172kw and 563Nm at the engine now.
Great results for power and torque. Does this affect the 10 year warranty that Mitsubishi offers?
Thanks mate. And no it does not! Most of the cars that we tune are all under new car warranty.

@@jacura feel free to call the Australian Aftermarket Automotive Association for clarification of this
Great review! Do you guys do an aftermarket exhaust, which would further gain some performance; if so, which brand do you use? TIA.

Fuel economy does increase Because your not foot on the throttle as much to get up to speed or maintain speed also

Hi Grant how good does.it.go after the tune and is it worth it@@GrantHawkey
what engine does this have
2.4 ltr crdi turbo diesel is the only engine they come with here in Australia afaik.
is this all stock even the air filter?
Yes. And airfilter doesn't make much of a difference to power & torque gains - not noticeable anyway.
