I'm impressed. The last time I was in Vegas for a trade show I didn't find the Convention Center until the final day of the show. Let's just say the rest of my time there stayed in Vegas. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the TurnX Tools (PHLiPBiT & ULT Screwdriver) feature! Awesome to meet you at the show & we look forward to seeing you again in the next one! 😎🙌👍
Im a hindu, student of MBA watching this from BIHAR, INDIA. I have nothing to do w tools or woodworking, but i have this taste for american product shows like this one. I'll probably never get a chance to feel this in real life. This is the closest to being there. Thanks for sharing. I might also use the innovative plus points related to businesses handling and expansion covered in these kinda shows. Thanks for the learning aspect of it too.
Thanks! no prob, yea was a very fun show, I will post day 3 tomorrow. This show is a ton of manufacturers as well so a lot of it isn't applicable to consumers, its where a thing like the tool swing might be able to get in with the manufacturer of some metal tool benches etc.
The tool swing is an awesome concept. Instead of vices and grinder, I'd love to see a versatile setup where you mount table top tools. Yes the cabinet would need to be a great deal larger, but think of being able to easily access and store a table top sander or other table tops.
I need that tool swing! I went looking for info on it and found a TH-cam video from him from 6 years ago with the same product. It doesn't look like this is going to get built anytime soon - too bad.
I actually talked to the inventor of that a month or so ago on the phone, he’s looking for a manufacturer to start making it so perhaps we’ll see it in about six months. If he does, I’ll have it on the channel.
@@BitnerBuilt one side got stuck while transporting some heavier item, tubes got bent the load twisted some wheels broke out of the plastic. The load was on 2 sets of carts. its a pain to turn in any directions if your load is not tall enough so to sum imho its a fancy crap, cant use it on dirt forget about rough terrain. since the "accident" we are making our own carts trolleys, sometimes using 2 pcs of 10" tall 5/8 shaft airless tires from HB or 4 hd casters mounted on 2x6 or something and if I remember correctly I spent 129 on each of those yellow carts. the caster are fraction of that price.
Thanks! there were a few other people there but TH-cam a big place! Met the Den of tools and Idaho Painter guys there, I know they are putting out some videos on it as well (might have different stuff) Really nice guys!
Enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, the Snappy Driver Set is currently unavailable on Amazon and I'm having no luck finding it elsewhere so kind of out of luck on that one. . . They do have a stubby version available on Amazon. Not sure why the one they demonstrated is not actually available.
So I just checked my Amazon, over a hundred people bought that in the past two days through my link so it’s just out of stock because of people ordering them. Hopefully back in stock soon! I will shoot them a message.
Talked to the snappy driver guys, there is a shipment combining from Japan now to restock Amazon, will be back in stock by the end of the month, sorry for the delay they didn’t expect the sales boost.
Large gun safe can easily exceed the floor rating. As you move this heavy object it would be wise to assess the floor from below and put temporary supports
I have a spare Rev a Shelf that I got with the intent of using in the shop. With the dewalt coming in at 92lbs, I don’t think that mechanism would support it for long, even with a 1” top. It has some wobble side to side with that heavy mixer. 25lbs?
@@dian3145 Yeah, you aren’t going to support a 100 lbs saw with one. I’m referring to those ubiquitous spindle sanders and shit like that. Might get away with a Festool Kapex, but not anything heavier.
There were a good 20 battery / solar companies there. With everything transitioning off gas (outdoor / lawn) they all seem to be getting into the battery business
@@BitnerBuilt it's stupidity of marketing. Buy lunch & coffee their as well. Ironically I was in woodworking for over 25 yrs. Never needed any of these items.
Interesting I will bring it up to them. They were talking off camera with me about how they formulated their own new molding structure, making it incredibly lighter by adding a diamond void you can see from the side
No way that was an actual, unmodified safe. I’m sure the car can carry the weight of an actual safe, but he wouldn’t be wheeling it around the way he did if it was nothing more than the skin of a safe. NOT 600 lbs
No not cheap but very nice, so it’s a decision on if your a pro who’s going to use it all the time etc which justifies the purchase (as with most tools)
Thanks Justin - you do a really good job of asking questions and getting the right info from vendors and I love your enthusiasm. Very good coverage!
Wow thanks so much!
The tool carts ,yes finally getting a more aggressive approach and functionality Thank you
👍

😂😂😂
Awesome! We will be there this March
Oh cool we will have a full film crew there this year! Excited to see your stuff!
Awesome! I really liked the idea of a drill/Phillips driver in one! 😃
Thanks, Justin!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks! You too!
Thanks for the TurnX Tools (PHLiPBiT & ULT Screwdriver) feature! Awesome to meet you at the show & we look forward to seeing you again in the next one! 😎🙌👍
No prob, I love great tool solutions!
Thanks for doing this! Out of all the "tool guys" that I follow, you are the only one covering this show.
Thanks! Yeah, there were only about 10 of us there

With 2 big freezers and a safe I need that cart. Thanks for the great introductions.
thanks Dian!
This was AWSOME. Should have done 6-7 days I love this thank you

really well presented to keep these quick
Thanks! Yea I told every company they have 1 min (hoping they will keep it under 5 😂)

Yea I would love for a planer sized one
As far as the vice concearn, google "Heuer Klapp Lift" and you will find a device that is around for decades and a bit more versatile.
Tool swing is awesome
Right! I hope he finds a company willing to buy his product
I liked that one as well

Yea I told him I want one for a planer !. He doesn’t want to get into making them, wants to just sell the concept to some other company
I have a Rhino Cart and it is awesome!
Oh good to know!
Please keep us posted on the Tool Swing available.

I definitely said out loud “ooohhh part 2!” 😂
Haha nice! Part 3 tomorrow!
Wow. Jealous, would have loved to be there. Great interviews.
Thanks Bob yea it was a fun time (except for the flights)
some good stuff thank you. Rhino cart well I had a pair did not last long not buying it again.
Thanks! Really would love to know how it broke etc? Only time I have seen it was at the show

Day 2 was really great. I haven't seen any other blogs on this show... That many vendors and no coverage 🤔🥴 wierd!

Rev a shelf works for bigger tools but the tool swing looks like it’s a bit more robust.
Could you link one that works for heavy tools?
@@BitnerBuilt the ones designed for mixers.

Buy your battery and solar panel at a woodworking show?
Great progress here.

What is the name of the groove forming screwdrivers?
Anex Snappy Driver Set - amzn.to/3TC1vW1
6061 Al is not aircraft grade it is 7075

Wrong. 6061- T6 is very commonly used in aircraft structures. It is "aircraft grade."
If you keep making good videos like this, not a lot of people are gonna show up to the next hardware show 😂
Haha - it was a fun time, gotta go 👍

🤷
The cheap $10 Harbor Freight will also move it.
yea and I have one of those but not very stable, doesn't have side edge support and the line of wheels makes it much easier to go over thresholds etc
I was interested in the easy wing until i saw the price.

Red house 🤔409 dollars thank sweetie 🤐
Nice things can’t always be cheap unfortunetly
That appears to be an _awfully light_ "gun safe".
I pushed it, it was heavy! that’s why when I started the video by saying I was wrong, that’s why I was impressed by it.
