  • India and Israe suffered from the same thing. The British Empire used are people, our food, our Land and our culture just for there amusement. I'm sorry this so is a little bit long but I don't think there is a single part that I can take out from his speech. This is very interesting to learn about your struggles and to try to find the similarity between the people of Israel and the people of India under the British. Indian soldiers also had to come to Israel to fight in the battle of Haifa, I made a video about this if you'd like to see a little bit about the history and how we show our respect to the people who lost their life trying to protect us even though they had to do it just because the British Empire forced them to.
    00:00 today we will see...

This guy is an MP from Kerala. Ask him the atrocities conducted by the !slam!c invaders and his mouth will seal shut. The truth is the British came as saviors, but they economically exploited us. India was ruled for 1000 years by !slam!c forces , brutal rule like you imagine like today's Syria, but as a proud Hindu whose ancestors fought the !slam!c invaders, I must say the British helped us. British rule was bad but !slam!c rule was BRUTAL. 80 MILLION HINDUS 🕉 were massacred by the !slam!c forces. Will Durand's quote was "!slam!c invasions of India was the most brutal".

      @that1israeligirl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +26

I don't think it's really about the money, I think this is more about acknowledging what you've done and trying to do something to fix it. In Israel we had a lot of volunteers from Germany that there grandparents were part of the Nazi army. They will never be able to bring back our people or the books and art that they destroyed, but they are still ignoring but they fun and trying to find a way just stop being a part of the problem.

@@that1israeligirl I think it's actually in the blood of brits. After colonisation, invasion, slavery massacres, looting more than 50%
of the population thinks they didn't do anything wrong in the past. In punjab province of india they actually burnt people alive ( jalian wala bhang) so one can imagine the level of actocities done brits to India. We Indians really emphasise on 'forgive but never forget' and I think that everyone who have been hurt can really stand by this quote. Now we are a strong nation and we like to be in peace.

We should voice our opinions against this.. I'm not saying yell at everyone who buys a fairness cream, but we can teach your loved ones to value morals and personality rather than colour.. Namaste,
I have been studying about the 'British loot' in details as my hobby. Let me make you aware of the fact that almost 90% of Indians also don't know about it. The East India Company first arrived at the port of Surat of Indian subcontinent on August 24, 1608. They began their trade with tea, cotton, jute (at that time it was known as golden fibre) and sugar. And in the 17th century they plundered so much gold that they packed it in 900 ships and carried it away to the London. At that time the Charles 1 was the king of britain. He asked the sailor that from where did you find this much gold. The sailor replied from India. Along with his answer he also added that we think that we are the most civilized people but actually the civilization began on this earth is land of India. They deliberately stole 45 trillion dollars from India in those 200 years.

@maneet Singh You are right brother now let me tell you one more stroy. When Lord Macaulay (a british officer) arrived to India in India in 1833. He wrote his letter from India to his father mentioning a sentence that India has the most advanced education system in the world. After that Macaulay introduced the new Education policy of britishers in 1835 in India according to which all the gurukuls(schools), vishwavidyalaya(universities) in Sanskrit language which were running at that time around the whole country were shut down and blacklisted. If you don't believe me then Macaulay's all letters are available in London museum. And do you Britain had its first school in 1800 and at that time there were 7380000 schools present in India. And these schools were running in the buildings of our temples. So they destroyed our temples also.

India was often commonly referred in Olden times as "Sona ki chirya" aka Golden bird as India was 23% of World GDP prior to British and 27% by global Trade at 1700, $45 Trillion dollar worth in current terms were looted out of India under british. From being land of Riches, we became the GLOBAL POSTER BOY OF POVERTY. We are slowly building back.
But we hold no ill being, by 2100 we Indians will work hard to reclaim itself back as World Biggest Economy both in Nominal & PPP terms. We shall not fail. not sure we meet 23 & 27% of past though. Will take another century for that possibly.
Love to All Israeli, we consider them as Brothers. We stall stand together, India will always remain a home away from Home, if ever needed or any decide. Long Live Israel, long live Israeli-Indian friendship.

We dont need anything from them. The "Sorry" that they owe us is for their peace. You know the crazy thing is that there is nothing written about the horrible things they did in their colonies in their history books. British students are taught that they made people in their colonies civilized and gave good things to the people. That's why they don't recognise the wrongs they have done in their colonies. Wherever British ruled, they made sure there is and will have problems that can't be solved easily like ISRAEL-PALESTINE conflict, INDIA-PAKISTAN Conflict etc. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳❤🇮🇱

There's so much more that happened, both good, bad, and very bad and it's tough to cover it all here. We'll have to talk 200 years of history in a few lines. Crazy. BTW you summed it up well and that's it.

i guess this is one of the things that make Indians & Israelis natural friends...
we've both suffered scarring horror in the past & we've both triumphed upon them in the long run & came out to be stronger than before...
& we're still being targeted... enemies have changed but not the intentions...
even though none of us are expansionist but only claiming what has always been ours... & we're claiming just that...

And the best part is Israel and India went through the worst in the world but we are the only two nations that's had proved the whole world wrong, specially Britain, Current times Jews and Indians owns prominent positions and businesses in the world and we both have the kind of ppl and money and military that can never be defeated because they are battle hardened

We have some British bootlickers in the comment section saying British were our saviours from Mughal rule. FYI when British started colonialising, Mughal empire was already done and dusted and Maratha empire was in power. Mughals were only a few provinces.
These belong to the same ethnicity of "Indians" who helped the British against the Indian revolution of 1857.
