This video is the digest movie of tricot's conceptual one man show (Silent Show "HIMITSU").
The featue of this live was that there was no MC of tricot members, the audience should not speak out and the dress code was black.

【tricot】
“tricot” is a Japanese alternative rock band that was formed in the historical and cultural city of Kyoto on Sep 1, 2010.
The band develops an unusual and distinctive sound that consists of harmonization of pop and emotional vocals with a complex rhythm. The members are not familiar with math rock and such harmonization is not created on purpose.
“tricot” has been to many places around the world and successfully held a total of 109 shows overseas through 3 Asia tours, 2 Europe tours including a supporting act for Pixies in the UK, US tours and UK tours. Their concert events are often sold-out and tricot is active throughout the world as musicians.

The fact the drums kept the groove in 4/4 during Don't Mix It while the opening riff is in 5/4 was extraordinary

1st impression, they keep upping their game.this looks great, they do too. when I think of the little videos when I first saw them on TH-cam. only heard it once, the music sounds good. different, more complex and jazzier, need to hear it more. the performances are top notch as they usually are, vocals sound much better and are a highlight. I liked them from the first time I saw and heard them. this looks like another step forward and upward. good for them and for their fans.
Tricot keep pushing new boundaries. Its truely astonishing to witness how much creativity, talent and artistic curiosity and integrity there is going on with these women,. I fuckin love it.
One thing I love about tricot is that they extend out their crescendos about 30 seconds longer than you expect, and then take that to a whole different level when playing live

@ki.0359 ' actually at the beginning of the formation they had a male drummer(check their old videos) when he left, it was just them 3 for a while, hence the description. They probably forgot to update it, but seriously need to, since the current drummer is an official member.
I kinda miss the rhythm guitar, though. Motofour is fantastic as always, it's just a two-woman job.
Sure wish the last two albums had American distribution.

I feel like she's doing that mysterious thing where not holding or playing a guitar is making her sing worse. Not bad, just worse. It happens to all of us that learn to play guitar while singing, probably.

Yeah I think Yoshida Yuusuke is officially a member so perhaps the right term would be something like "mostly female".

@@alwan1414 I feel you, but I guess this shows that they might never have truly wanted to carry that tag either. I know the new stuff is different and more poppy at times, but I think it can still grow on you after a bit.

@@ashwinangelo5576 yeah I mean they’re never stated that they’re a math rock band in the first place. I enjoy they’re new stuff but I hope they come back with more upbeat, weird/math rock ish style that they used to do
@@alwan1414 this is math rock though, the amount of time signature change they do is more than you find even in some very progy songs, which something math rock is know for. But they never really claimed it was math rock, meaning they didn't do math rock intentionnaly, they just wrote what they wanted and turned out it was pretty complexe and people noticed it but always described themselves as alt rock
