Summoner tip: get a weapon with int, make it so your int is only capped to your gem with your weapon in your mainhand. this way if you weapon swap blink tech or regular weapon swap twice, minions will despawn as you lose int to equip the gem and respawn when you swap back,
the lenghts that people will go to... simply enjoy the game by going faster... who would have thought that traversing massive maps will eventually become boring with no additional mobility?
Yeah even the bug aside, they in no way are going to keep the ability to easily blink for a weapon swap. The entire point was that it had an opportunity cost of the spirit so completely side stepping it goes against their design philosophy of poe2. Obviously there are a million other things they need to work on atm but I definitely wouldn't expect they keep this in the game long term.
You sure they won't leave it when it's a creative use of the system that's already in place? How can it be against the design when they made it possible for you to do that?
@@chrishayes5755I’m inclined to agree. Grim feast costs half of that and is much more powerfull (currently) for preventing damage. Archmage is probably the biggest damage multiplier in the game right now (if you build around it). And blink costs 60% of that. There’s a reason so few people use blink without weaponswap. Its pretty much never worth it.
If they do that then they are really not getting what people want... It is FUN to move fast and its a very important part of RPGs for your character to pretty much become a god by the end of its journey. We should not feel in maps this close to the power level during campaign. They need to be increasing movement skills, their speed, reducing cooldowns. I mean for years during PoE2 development they kept saying "we at GGG don't like cooldowns and feel its much better if you can use your skills whenever you want", so why did they back down on that fundamental PoE design and put long cooldowns on everything.
@Ambander-p3x no you dont get what the point of spirit and blink / movement is, it's supposed to be at a HIGH cost because BY DESIGN they want you to be slow , the entire point of blink was that it had an opportunity cost of the spirit, taking it away by abusing weaponswapping completely breaks the design and intentions of the devs. it will get nerfed
@Ambander-p3x The majority of skills do not have CD. That's what they meant. Those that DO have cooldown are either REALLY strong or have would be OP if they did not have CD. I use Time freeze. If it had no cooldown i would perma stun all enemies. Or we wouldnt have any cool skills like that if there were no CD skills. Blink is incredibly strong and is understandably with a CD :P
@Ambander-p3xthats not what they said tho. They said they didnt like the idea of the archetype cd skills like in other games. And yes they have added a few of just that. But cd on for example coc have always been a thing and ofc will exist. 1 attack per second is 1s cd attack ;)

You can use skill with very low casting speed to use the weapon switch such as incinerate. Also I noticed that I blink straight into packs and die a lot more with this tech😂
It's the overflowing mechanic they added in PoE 2. It's on Blood Mage ascendency for health, Mana Remenants aura for mana, and Grim Harvest aura as well as Meditate for Invoker Monk for es. Essentially, you get get up to double your max amount of resources, but you can only add to overflowing via the aforementioned sources
We REALLY need way more movement speed in the game. Its kinda crazy they not only made us slower but then made maps way bigger so it feels even much slower.

same everyone runns the same shitty "proc comet somehow" build. thats like d4 lvl of build diversity. also who the f.. came up with the idea that u can use blink ON a cooldown insdead of dodgeroll for 60 spirit .. like 60 spirit is alot.. every mage needs some "cast on whatever" do do damage or archmage, its not like u can just fit in blink and even if you could literally ANYTHING ELSE would be better.. why ?

blink is kinda weak anyway, 60 spirit for that?! should cost 20, that would be reasonable.

or you can just cancel the animation and blink instant, no need to wait for the skill to cast :P
shield charge on weapon set 2, and use double blink (second wind) at the end of shield charge to cancel the slow end of shield charge animation

Its a Spirit gem skill, and its lvl 14, which is around char level 60 or so
