native cebuano speakers mostly use only 3 vowel sounds the a-i-u as opposed to the spanish vowels of a-e-i-o-u as we think that there is a little difference in the sound of e or i and o or u. its just that one is a short vowel sound and the other is long vowel sound so usually we settle what's in between. lol.
hi, just wondering when you read the book of mormon in visayan, were you translating it into english, so you could understand what you were reading, or were you just reading it to practice your translation?
+Aus Pino81 Hello, whenever I was reading the book of mormon in visayan, i was just reading it to work on my pronunciation. However I learned that as I was doing that I understood more and more throughout the span of time that I did it in. It took probably about 4 or 5 months for me to read it like I did, because we had so much other things we were doing but yeah. Also sorry it took me so long to reply to this.
