So I saw a Pelvic Floor specialist with my first and I am so glad I did! I used to be a dancer and when the specialist checked me out my pelvic floor was like rock hard- she helped me learn to relax it. She said lots of ex-dancers are wound so tight from their training that birth can be really painful and leave them with pelvic floor injuries because the only way for baby to get out is by damaging the wall in their way when it wont melt out of their way- so she helped me figure out how to melt and let my baby pass through and I had relief from tailbone and pubic bone pain as I learned that too!!
Our first boy’s name is Ezra and it means “help” or “helper”. He has such a gentle soul and such a massive heart. He was born on Mandela Day in South Africa which is a day dedicated to Nelson Mandela and spending extra time helping those in need. When I went into labor that day I honestly felt so in awe. God’s hand was honestly so deep in all of it. Felt like a little nudge from God.

We chose the name Denver, and Denver means “green pasture.” He was our first, and he was very unexpected haha!! But throughout my pregnancy, God kept bringing me to psalms 23 and reminding me that He is my Shepherd, He lays me down on green pastures, I shall not want and I have NO lack in Him and He would provide for us and our baby. And God has brought us SO much new life and joy with our sweet little guy!! He lives up to the meaning🥰🏔️(and we love Colorado, so win win haha!!)

Been in bed rest since 27weeks and with my last pregnancy I was in the hospital since 25 weeks… so living in uncertainty but learning to trust in the lord and very grateful with him to be in bed rest at home and not at the hospital! 🙈🙈 Baby is great but Need your prayers please! ❤ God bless you all!
To encourage you, my first birth was soooo long and painful, I honestly thought I was demon possessed. Lol! My next one was four hours from first contraction to birth - I kept waiting to feel the same kind of pain I did the first time, and it never happened! (So I almost delivered in the car and my husband missed the birth but hey, I’ll take that over the first labor and delivery experience) so I hope that happens with you as well, such a redemptive birth!!

Especially my most recent apecialist helped me find what was really going on, create stretches and massage that actually worked for my body. It helped me learn more about my body, be more atuned and aware and built my confidence so much! It was so empowering id reccomend to anyone considering!!

If you can find someone that is experienced with pregnant Mommas, and gently stretching those round ligaments, 👌 perfect!! It also made labor so much smoother and quick. Only 7 hrs for my first baby, and he was 10 lbs!!!

My first pregnancy! We’re not finding out the gender but the name we have picked out if baby is a boy is Simon Peter. He’s my favorite disciple of Christ and I think a lot of us can relate to him. Simon means “to hear/listen” and Peter means “rock”.
Some people don’t have time lol some of us are working long shifts, have multiple infant children who don’t sleep. Have no support, have our own health problems, only having 1 hr sleep most nights or have high needs children. Sometimes you don’t even have time to eat so no we can’t always make the time.
So know what you mean about the pregnancy emotions. I’m currently 11 weeks with our second and my husband jokingly called me ‘lazy’ this morning and I literally cried. He was so sorry haha! I thought I’d surpassed the throwing up stage then as soon as I hit ten weeks I started throwing up. So sorry you had nausea until 16 weeks… so exhausting. But it’s all so worth it in the end. So excited for you to have two gorgeous boys so close in age!
I found your channel during my first pregnancy while you were pregnant with Micah, and now I’m due in May with our second. :) I did end up doing pelvic floor therapy postpartum and it helped so much! On the note of second labours being faster, yes!! General rule of thumb is your active labour halves, I almost had my son at home because I transitioned waaay faster than I expected. It wasn’t until my mum saw me, she told me I had to leave immediately. Got to the birth centre and had him 10 mins later! Watch out for the second babies, always in a rush 🥰
Was pregnant with you last time. Had my boy in January. 😊 Not pregnant now though. Have had some pelvic floor problems post partum and seeing (the sweedish version of) a pelvis floor specialist has been great and helped a lot! 👌

Baby boy name suggestion- I agree boy names are so difficult! After 8 years and a big struggle including 3 years of IVF we welcomed our second beautiful boy and named him Asher. The biblical meaning is happiness comes from the Hebrew word Osher. Our Asher is definitely that he brings so much happiness and this baby seems that he has also done that. I think it goes beautifully with Micah and Masters. Good luck finding a fitting name for your boy. Sending lots of love

My first labor was 9 hours my second was 5 hours but we got to the hospital and he was born in 2 hours once we got there so it was fast! My third baby was 7 hours. Hope this birth goes better for you! And will be praying for health for you all ❤

I was pregnant with you the first time around (daughter born in Jan 2023) and I was pregnant with you this time as well (daughter born in Dec 2023). Irish twin girls, born 10.5 months apart - Millie & Malia💗 I too had an unpleasant first birth experience. Birth center labor that ended with an emergency ambulance transfer to a hospital due to 2 vaginal hemotomas that had ruptured. Which also was due to my pelvic floor being too tight (wow we have a lot of similarities I didn't realize until typing this out!) After my 6 week pp visit I started pelvic floor therapy and I can confidently say it worked wonders for me. I didn't have any of those issues with my 2nd pregnancy, labor and delivery or postpartum (here's hoping it stays that way)! And my 2nd birth was THREE hours, start to finish. When people asked me how I felt about my 2nd birth I told them that it was incredibly redemptive. I pray the same for you Tori!

I had NO idea that there were gyms that offer child care so when I had my first daughter and someone suggested finding one it was a life changer! Most places will allow 2hrs a day 5x a week included with your membership which is amazing! It socializes your child and allows you to workout AND shower Monday-Friday uninterrupted which is such a blessing. Maybe utilizing something like that could help you get back into a routine 🤍
I love Biblical meaning names and two specifically came to mind for baby! How about the names Greyson/Grayson Masters or Hudson Masters? I think Micah and Greyson/Grayson sound cute together and so does Micah and Hudson! 😊 Greyson/Grayson means “son of a steward” 💙💙 Hudson means “son of God”💙💙

On the note of second labours being faster, yes!! General rule of thumb is your active labour halves, I almost had my son at home because I transitioned waaay faster than I expected. It wasn’t until my mum saw me, she told me I had to leave immediately. Got to the birth centre and had him 10 mins later! Watch out for the second babies, always in a rush 🥰

Baby boy name suggestion- I agree boy names are so difficult! After 8 years and a big struggle including 3 years of IVF we welcomed our second beautiful boy and named him Asher. The biblical meaning is happiness comes from the Hebrew word Osher. Our Asher is definitely that he brings so much happiness and this baby seems that he has also done that. I think it goes beautifully with Micah and Masters. Good luck finding a fitting name for your boy. Sending lots of love

My first labor was 9 hours my second was 5 hours but we got to the hospital and he was born in 2 hours once we got there so it was fast! My third baby was 7 hours. Hope this birth goes better for you! And will be praying for health for you all ❤

I’ve been following since before y’all got pregnant with Micah so it’s been cool seeing you pregnant a second time while I’m pregnant with my first!🥰 Any advice you have for a FTM I would love!! I pray that you have a fast and painless Birth!
I was pregnant with you the first time around (daughter born in Jan 2023) and I was pregnant with you this time as well (daughter born in Dec 2023). Irish twin girls, born 10.5 months apart - Millie & Malia💗 I too had an unpleasant first birth experience. Birth center labor that ended with an emergency ambulance transfer to a hospital due to 2 vaginal hemotomas that had ruptured. Which also was due to my pelvic floor being too tight (wow we have a lot of similarities I didn't realize until typing this out!) After my 6 week pp visit I started pelvic floor therapy and I can confidently say it worked wonders for me. I didn't have any of those issues with my 2nd pregnancy, labor and delivery or postpartum (here's hoping it stays that way)! And my 2nd birth was THREE hours, start to finish. When people asked me how I felt about my 2nd birth I told them that it was incredibly redemptive. I pray the same for you Tori!

I had NO idea that there were gyms that offer child care so when I had my first daughter and someone suggested finding one it was a life changer! Most places will allow 2hrs a day 5x a week included with your membership which is amazing! It socializes your child and allows you to workout AND shower Monday-Friday uninterrupted which is such a blessing. Maybe utilizing something like that could help you get back into a routine 🤍
I love Biblical meaning names and two specifically came to mind for baby! How about the names Greyson/Grayson Masters or Hudson Masters? I think Micah and Greyson/Grayson sound cute together and so does Micah and Hudson! 😊
