    I really love this program. I found it just by random and since I am a physician myself and really love English as a foreign language I am dreaming of becoming one of those doctors literally examining the patients there in the uk. That would be so lovely.

    When I think about the beautiful woman who came in with pain at the bone biopsy site, my heart just sank. I hate cancer, I hate the word and what it does. When people have it, it can and will consume and control every part of the mind. Even when life is good, we have family, grandchildren and lots of friends. We stay busy, no alcohol just live a good and busy life, this thing called cancer will dominate life from there on. It’s not fair, and I wish it didn’t exist. This hits babies all the way to late years….just not nice. My whole point in saying all this….I think of why cancer is here, it’s because of us. Because of Adam and Eve. Just think, if they only would have listened to God we would all be living a perfect life right now. Too many innocent men, women and children suffering from this and I wish I could make it go away for them ALL!

    Ear infections are strange, I went to work was 100% ok by lunch I had a slight pain and by 5 pm I couldn’t see out of both eyes and my ear had closed it’s amazing how infectious work

    • @johnnyjoestar7143
      @johnnyjoestar7143 ปีที่แล้ว

      What infection did you have? I work with ears and I'm trying to think what ear condition makes someone not able to 'see out of both eyes'. Was it total blindness? Or just difficulty focusing? Labyrinthitis/inner ear infection can cause blurriness and double vision but not as extreme as not being able to see at all. But it is one of those annoying conditions of the ear to have, defo must not have been a pleasant experience if it was that.
      I've had ear infections before but only outer ear and that was already highly uncomfortable. You don't realise how much normal everyday movements ripple through your ears, even moving my arm up triggered my ear pain :s

    I got out on ondansetron 3 weeks ago, great anti sickness. I’m at 5mg but my cyclizine was 50mg and did nothing for me.

    I am prescribed 20 mg of long acting Morphine capsules during the day I have been on the same dose for over 20 years it went up briefly after a bad fall. It doesn't get rid of all my pain, but it keeps it bearable. Needless to say I don't entirely agree with the nurses opinion on strong painkillers, but there are I am convinced certain personalities who have a pre disposition towards addiction.

      I agree with what you are saying about the opioid medications,,,,the person isn’t a nurse,,but a doctor. They are referred to,as consultants in the UK .

    • @unknownentity7964

      @@meowjanetthe lady in the program talking about opioids wasn't a doctor. She's an advanced nurse practitioner

      I agree. I have a very bad back(it’s fused from the middle to the second to the last by the tail bone). I have what they call failed back syndrome. Along with my right hip has had the top of the bone removed (it was shattered). I am in pain every day. The only way I can function is I wear 37 dose fentanyl patch and have to take hydrocodone(10’s) for brake through pain. I use to be on 75 fentanyl but was able to bring it down 6 years ago. Without the pain medication I am in to much pain to even function at all. There are 2 different surgeries that they think will help but 1-there are no guarantees that they would work. 2-I live on s.s.i.d. So low income and can’t afford what would be left after the insurance pays. I actually live in fear that at some point the government will make it impossible for me to get the pain medication that I need. Life would not be worth living if I had to deal with the pain without medication.

    I'll never understand some people. That one lady has diabetes, shes having ongoing sight and feet problems, but she refuses to help herself by way of getting herself healthier with diet and exercise. So she’d rather wither away? Strange.

      Some people I know are diabetic as am I. I’m trying to figure out how to phrase this. I think some people subconsciously don’t want to deal with it. Almost like depression, so they carry on eating wrong, and just not looking after themselves properly. They end up with serious issues like this this lovely lady. I know of someone that had serious neuropathy in her feet. One foot she had gangrene set in on 3 toes and had them amputated. I tried to get her to become active before the gangrene and after she healed from surgery to no avail. She refused to go for even short 1 block walks. She would sit and watch tv all day, eat whenever she felt up to it, and chain smoke. She eventually lost her leg just below the knee. I have no idea whatever happened to her. We’ve lost touch. Now, I have type 2 diabetes and so far I don’t have neuropathy in my feet, (thank goodness), but I do have vascular disease in my legs! Arteries around the heart are in perfect health though. I’ve had one bypass-graft done in pelvic artery. Going to have further surgery this year on same side, but in my thigh to just above the knee. I love walking, and have been losing the bit of weight I gained with Covid diet! Almost back down to where I was pre-Covid. Since late summer last year, I’m unable to eat big meals due to nausea. I eat very light but healthy, low fat, low sugar/carbs meals every day. I’ve become accustomed to very light meals and find I am very contented with this. Once a touch warmer weather comes along, I’ll be out walking much more. Can’t wait for spring! Trees are getting ready to blossom, daffy, tulips and hyacinths are breaking through the ground and robins are back from migration! YAY! Be well everyone, stay safe. 😊❤️🇨🇦

      Well said Cathy! I’ve lost loved ones to this. I think the whole getting healthy is so overwhelming that it’s easier to self sooth with old habits and comforts.

      I hear you, however she may have depression or other mental health conditions. I have diabetes as well as autoimmune arthritis, interstitial lung disease, 6 tears ago I was an athlete. I have crippling ptsd, I am sitting waiting to die.

    • @cathylaycock5598
      @cathylaycock5598 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know a few people with same issues. Depression can affect a person in many ways. She’s in denial and refusing to see it but I’m sure in the back of her mind, she knows the dangers. Everyone is affected differently. Nobody can help her until she’s mentally ready to help herself.
