  • chicken 1 kg
    red chilli pdr 2 tsp
    kashmiti chilli powder 1tsp
    coriander pdr 4 tsp
    turmeric pdr
    garam masala pdr ( optional 1tsp)
    ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp
    pepper pdr 1 tsp
    shallots 15
    onion 1 big
    curry leaves
    green chilli slit 3
    cinnamon 2 pieces
    fresh coconut grated 1/2 a coconut
    coconut oil 1tbsp +1/2 tbsp for frying coconut
    METHOD
    1. In a pan add coconut oil .
    When it becomes hot,add cinnamon .
    Then add coconut .
    Fry on slow fire,till it becomes brown in color.
    Now add the masala pdrs except pepper pdr.
    Switch off the gas
    Cool this mixture and grind it to a fine paste.
    2. In the pan,now take the cleaned chicken pieces.
    Mix it well with onion chopped, shallots chopped,ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder,pepper powder, curry leaves,green chillies,ground paste,1tbsp coconut oil.
    Mix all this well. Keep it on fire to cook.
    Cover and cook on slow fire till the chicken gets cooked.
    No need to add water.
    3. Open the pan ,add coriander leaves and serve hot.
