She said it all. She got to live before she died. My brother was also diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Given only a few months to live he did things on his bucket list. He showed up one day on a Harley. (he always wanted one) He spent most of his life turning a wrench as a mechanic busting his ass. Unfortunately he only got to ride for a couple months. So it was touching to see this woman get to live her adventure.

You’re doing an admirable thing by showing her respect and keeping her spirit alive through these videos. She took a leap of faith and conquered her fears by doing something most of us only dream about. There should be some type of memorial for her next year at Sturgis/Camp 5.

Thank you for taking such good care of this woman in the most difficult time of her life. She was blessed to have met you. Obviously, you feel equally as blessed to have known her. Your message regarding war is a view I also share. We need to stop funding these senseless and idiotic wars. I am hopeful that America is waking up. But I've felt this way before. Safe travels.

Why is it that only good people seem to die too soon? I guess it’s because their absence leaves a void that’s deeply felt, while the loss of bad people doesn’t seem to hit the same way. When good people pass away, it’s a reminder of the kindness, love, and light they brought into the world-things we don’t want to lose. On the other hand, when bad people die, there’s often a sense of indifference, or even relief, because they didn’t leave behind the same positive impact. It’s a tough thought, but maybe that’s why the loss of good people always feels so much heavier. I don't know Jean but Im a grown man sitting here with a tear in my eye...

Been watching you for years Scotty, envy you in a lot of ways, and others I don’t. Really take a lot of pride in working 60 plus hours a week down in the coal mines of WV to provide for my family. A few weeks a year I get to live your full time life, and I love it, dream about it, plan for it constantly. Anyway, your Jeanne videos have been my favorite ones that you have done. She looked so beautiful pulling out on that deluxe when she departed from you to go back home. Thank you for your content, very eye opening to our short time here.

Scotty, I didn’t personally know Ms.Jeany but what I have learned through your videos leads me to believe she was a lady with a dream (dreams)and she was blessed to be able to fulfill those dreams with the friendship, of you and your friends during the camp 5 stay and the ride home. I’m so glad you were able to make that journey home with her and able to do for her what she wasn’t able to do for herself. It takes a friendly person to bring you a gallon of gas out on the road but takes a true friend to hep you when your at your most vulnerable time in life, Death. Your a Good man for sticking with her. I can see she would have been an easy person to have gotten close to and to want to help if you could. Hang in there buddy. I know it is hard on the care giver to see the person you care for suffer and eventually die.

STS, There's no doubt after following these stories, that Jean was guided by the psyche whisperer that ultimately told her it was time to hit the road or die here. She probably wouldn't conscientiously equate those thoughts to die somewhere else instead so soon. In the same vein, she accepted her diagnosis and was at peace with it. That takes emotional brute strength and an old soul to accept that and even have a dead line (not a pun) but she surrendered to it with grace. I also find the nde of your mother intriguing. I'd like to know more. We all need reminded to live as though today its our last day. Thank you Jean for that wisdom.

My uncle abe, was on iwo, and was at Hiroshima right after the bomb. He, and all he served with died of cancers in the 70s, and early 80s. He was a health nut before it was cool, you didn't even smoke on his property.
