Thanks for a great video! Following your videos, Scotty, and observing the situation on the roads, it seems like we might be the last generation of motorcyclists. At all the rallies, the majority of participants are 50+, and the same is happening in Europe. The era of heavy motorcycles is coming to an end, and it’s understandable - the highways are overcrowded with cars, making riding a motorcycle not only inconvenient but also increasingly dangerous.

Met a "sweet" 70year old woman this summer, i wason my bike,she was in a truck, she was beat down, miles on her, she started to talk about her riding days, 1960s and 70s, coast to coast, the real deal! I regret not getting her phone number for lunch just to hear her talk. Told her id love to get her on my Electra glide even for a short ride, im 50, she said not anymore, with her back surgeries, what a woman!!

The inspiration comes from not having any passive investment to draw from and still travel the world. Retired I hear all sorts of stories of the massive amount of money you need to enjoy life. Maybe some people need that security but what freedom is that. True freedom is not having two nickels to rub together but still find a way to enjoy life and thankful for what you do have. They really do live in a different world. Barb was entertaining but I'd believe only half of what she says. Cool bike riding free loading perpetual couch surfer with a shoe problem.
I was thinkin how quiet it got when asked about money. Flying to Europe isn't free nor can you just hop a plane, staying stateside I can see the hotel couch surfing and rummaging through Lost and found as well as every town has someone willing to give you a meal. But as hard as it was to listen to Scotty state the truth he was absolutely right when T&A are involved things are easier to get...... or get out of of..
Beautiful Bike....I had two PANHEADS stolen 12 years ago....they got parted out on internet . I was a single father of a three year old daughter and that saved his ass....no mother just me.

My friend borrowed 50 bucks to rebuild the top end on his old beat up Harley in about 1983, just rings and gaskets,it was smoking like a bomb burning oil, the next day he fired it up and rode around the block a few times came back and said I'll get your money back to you soon as I can I'm outta here.I said where ya going?he said California.now we're in South Louisiana 40 miles from New Orleans and I'm like but you don't have any money and he said I'll be alright so I wished him well and he left.about 15 years later he showed up in a brand new truck with a brand new Harley in the back, like a copper and black color, and wife and everything else and gave me 100 bucks but anyway he was starving before he left and had enough and just bailed!I could never do that! the moral of the story is you don't always have to worry about the money, just take a leap of faith and go and you'd be surprised how things work out!he had become a superintendent for a pipefitting company in the refineries out there by the way and is comfortably retired now.
Since you have an aluminum oil pump its a 68 or 69 pan shovel, my 1st baggers was 67 pan shovel , built proof lower ends. Been riding ROADKING CLASSIC SINCE 2001 , 103 2011 CLASSIC STILL. RUBBERS SIDE UP GIRLS LIKE IT ON TOP🎉
