This is thrash for people that think thrash is screaming and chugga chugga guitars. No musicality whatsoever. How are they considerrd in the same company as Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, how? Not one good song, not even one world class riff... Total lack of songwriting skills. There is nothing special about this band. The sign language interpreter is crucial, you have to be at least tonally deaf, if not completely deaf to enjoy this garbage. Charlie Benante is awesome, but a drummer does not make a band. Most overrated band after Rolling Stones, and the stones actually have a handful of decent tunes. These guys are hopeless.

I wanted so much to like Anthrax. I picked up Fistful of Metal when it first came out. In later years, their sound was always too muddled, and they were always too restrained. They seemed like they were afraid of being uncool if they were too metal, so they needed this ironic attitude.
I’m 77 years old and love these guys. Never too old to enjoy great metal.

It's not really true thrash. It's sort of rap metal. Slayer was thrash, and many others (Destruction, Exodus, Kreator, Possessed, etc)
