Teresa, because of your videos, I found out about the Nor'sea 27. Luckily I was able to see one for sale. So, because of you, I bought a Nor'sea. And even though I haven't sailed it many times, I love my boat. Looking forward to getting it out on the water again some day.
Just thought you deserved to know that the Kirsten Dirksen video (Liveaboard life: minimalism in a tiny home at sea; featuring you and ben) that was released in 2011. Had inspired me to buy a 26 foot Columbia in Baltimore and sail it home to Vero Beach Florida 1200+nm inside and out. I had never had or even wanted a boat before, especially not a sailboat, nor did I know anything about waterway rules ECT. (Nothing like learning on the fly) None the less I made it home safely and because of the two of you; my life has forever changed. Since then I have owned 3 sailboats; currently a Landfall 38 and will soon be looking to hopefully upgrade to a larger boat. Soo much to say, lol. Just know your lives have influenced mine in the most positive of manners and I Thank you.
@@MorseAlphaExpeditions so sorry. Didn't realize he had passed. I didn't mean to bring up a sad memory. But, he would have made a better president. Trolls Begin. Miss that fuzzy feline.
(There are two kinds of sailors - those who run aground and those who are liars... lol) I learned all about those 'short cuts', too... I was returning from Penikese to Fairhaven a few years back with my Father-in-law (who has been sailing around Fairhaven his whole life and 'knows' the water there 'like the back of his hand') and a couple of others, and sailed towards New Bedford, then turned east toward the southern tip of West Island - very rocky nasty place. My FIL pointed me towards a landmark on WI and told me it was clear and I would have no trouble. I plotted the course on my chart, and my plot put me dead center over a 2-3' rocky shoal, mid-tide, and my boat drew 5'. I showed him, told him I wanted to swing south and around, but he insisted I would be fine. I deferred to his vastly superior experience (really - he knows his stuff... usually...). I never knew a boat could stop so fast...
I love your older videos. I rewatched all of them recently
Oh cool. They have a special “charm” I think. 🤣
love these earlier videos!
A walk down memory lane. Thanks.

Yeah she did good with that video. 🤦♂️
I love your cat
Is Dory ever going to make another run for President. We could use next year.
Hah I wish. Sadly he’s no longer with us. However, even posthumously, he might be the better option.

He was a good little boy fer sure. But now we have a new little boy 🤪
Awesome.
We thought it was worthy. 🤓 Thanks.
Nice Cuttyhunk cameo :-) Where did Ben run aground (looks familiar... but I guess a lot of the NE looks like that)?
Ben runs aground? Lol. Yeah In the Manisquan Inlet NJ and in The Abacos. Both times trying a “shortcut”!!

Where the hell did all the time go?
We wonder... still.
