I had 2 older trucks that had none of this BS electrical actuators... One simple lever, along with with locking hubs...never had any issues. They make it complicated...with all this electronic BS. Good job... Thanks for sharing ..... I now have a 02 4runner and even at the STEALERSHIP, the techs have no idea how it works !!!
Bro I fxkn clipped my front diff ADD rock crawling this weekend went without my skid plate and damn do I regret it cuz my front crossmember is right in the way of getting it out thinking abt taking the head apart and then unblocking it cuz I have no room my lift is in the way
That dosnt have anything to do with high or low range. It just keeps your front diff engaged. Once you put your t case in 4wd then the front locks up. So you determine what you want high or low 4wd or 2wd by your tcase shifter
Having the front differential locked like that all the time when you turning left or rt the steering wheel will get stiffer and jumpy, you have no problem when you go straight, Good luck ….
NS, Canada here..good videi bro...thanks. it was very helpful

Well if you treat your truck like you do the parts on the table, thats why its broken. Lol
Is all the way over in 4wd high position or low ?

@@Nitrorednecks hey man so when you do tat tack weld n what not. When you have it 2wd does with mess with turning at all? Since the diff is engaged.

Nope not true at all. It's only in 4x4 when you put the tcase in 4wd. There was no difference.
Is that a 2.7?
