I don’t know how to fully describe the decline of Rick and Morty without it sounding like I am hating on them. It is like they have fully embraced the weird, cringe, and gross out of hubris and ego. Like the repeated incest plots don’t feel introspective. It is like that edgy internet kid trying to make a point in the most shocking way possible bc he think he is smarter than you. I feel at this point they want to make the show as cringe and off putting as possible so that the people that stay and praise them are “the true fans” that “get it”.
Like how Evil Morty went from a misterious and genuine threat to an arrogant know it all cause the writers decided to meat ride him to the sun and back. There isn't even a satisfying explanation as to why he's a genius, he just is cause he's so cool and smart and everything/everyone else is beneath him. Then they have him bassically steal rick's character climax with Prime so he can just be cool again, while rick gets his unearned revenge.
I think Rick and Morty did the right move by not addressing it. Either it was going to be a 4th wall joke (perhaps Dan didn’t want to make it so soon) or some in universe explanation/sci fi concept (although I would assume Rick would try to reverse it)
I agree. For some reason, the Rick Sanchez voice makes Korvo feel like nothing more than a reskin of Rick. The new voice thrust Korvo into the territory of being his own character.
high popularity on its own can kill shows, but when you add 4th wall breaking characters and creator-fan interaction that literally affects if they do serialization or episodic story telling, youre flying into the sun
You know I love it when you talk Solar Opposites. I haven’t quite had time to watch all of Season 5 yet but what I’ve seen has kept me happy. And yes, am still convinced they made the right call hiring Dan Stevens to voice Korvo. He is excellent.
Them becoming a real couple was so cute😭 So heart warming and well done! I just recently started watching from season three because I just never got around to watching it and found it pretty cringe with the references they were making, but then it just got so good! They were so unlikable at first, but the wall saved the show, and now I love all the storylines! Them becoming a real couple finally gave them that character arc we needed to enjoy them as characters and embrace that odd-family dynamic they weren’t too solid on when the show first started!
Big fan of how even though they joke about being low-continuity in the main Solar Opposites stories, status quo shifts and developments and information do subtly stick and matter. Between all the subplots, and this season making 'F Consequences!' a running gag, I genuinely wouldn't be shocked if even more massive permanent shakeups affecting the Opposites were on the horizon.
What a great review, you nailed it my dude! I love Rick and Morty but Rick has become over powered in his arc. Absolute access to every possiblity means a solution to every problem. There aren't any limits- Rick can grow a new body, go into other timelines, construct decoys, buy replacements, build new universes, upload consciousnesses into simulations- the tension of the stories has gone. Mortys going to die? Doesn't matter, there's a dozen ways to fix it. I think that's why the concept was great for 3 seasons and now , episodes feel hollow. I hated Solar Opposites when it first came out, the characters were unlikeable and annoying. But with time they've definitely grown on me as they've stopped relying on SciFi to fix everything and started to use pop references to address their problems. But then giving those pop references a twist. I thought the "What if" machine storyline was a brilliant use of adaptation. Plus the characters are deeply flawed, not because of traumas but that's how their race is . " I hate Earth. It's a horrible home. People are stupid [and confusing]." And that's the backbone of the show, them trying to fit in, total trivialities of Earth culture becoming incredibly important to them, while their disastrous actions to earth people are shrugged off as inconsequential. To me this is fricken hilarious and very entertaining. And the best thing is they don't learn in a personal way like with a human would. Add the Wall saga, and Silvercops, I find "Solar opposites"'a lot more entertaining than the recent Rick & Mortys.
Solar opposites doesn’t have the same high’s like the 🕳️, vat of acid, etc, but it doesn’t have the AWFUL episodes like the semen one. It’s consistently good to great.
You actually got me into solar opposites!! That video with the people living in the terrarium I started 5 mins into the video and stopped saying hold up I need to binge solar opposites first. Great appreciation for the under dog show
i'd love to see a video about terry and korvo's relationship over time, i feel like they came together really naturally which is unusual for a gay couple in media, and i'm curious to hear your thoughts on it!! :)
They’re honestly one of my favourite if not my favourite TV couple yet. It works so well with the show and really adds to the optimistic spin on adult animation 😭 it’s so slept on!!!!!!
This is the one show I’ve been with from the start (outside of smiling friends) and I feel super vindicated that it’s this good still! It feels like I discovered a diamond in the rough at the start and I’m super happy about that
I think Solar Opposites is different enough to give it off an appeal. Plus it has one of the best B-C storylines I've seen in a long while, I keep getting invested in those.
What a show. I can’t imagine having a good primary story, and somehow making 2 other stories ongoing within the background and in a different galaxy is so good. It’s so refreshing and so interesting to keep track of all of these plot lines and have a genuine interest for it all
between a really good new season of futurama, and solar opposites, i'd say that sci-fi adult animation is probably the best it's ever been. I'm hoping that this continues, (and that Close Enough gets revived somehow)
Speaking of adult animation, I would love Close Enough to return. How about Adventure Time Fionna and Cake spin off series? That show is peak. I highly recommend it
Rick and Morty is like Family Guy and Solar Opposites is like American Dad. Solar Opposites hasn’t had the same heights as Rick and Morty but it’s more consistent in quality. Rick and Morty still has good episodes but it jumps up and down in quality constantly.
I like it better because while it does still contain *some* "i hate my family" humor, it's not filled with painfully horrible dynamics made up of pure hatred. In Rick and Morty they all hate each other so much, go overboard on the incest jokes, and generally just doesn't have likeable characters. Does it have funny jokes? Sure, but the show itself is seriously lacking in the form of interesting characters. It's not even like Bojack Horseman where you love to hate him, it's annoying to sit through. I like how Terry and Korvo are genuinely in love, and how it doesn't sacrifice loveable moments between characters for the sake of comedy. There are actually some sweet moments that get a couple seconds to be enjoyable and aren't immediately ruined with a joke. I will say it is lacking in a lot of areas, but I don't mind that so much because even during the bland moments I still enjoy the characters themselves. Also, while not the best thing to depend on, the show depending mostly on subplots is kinda fun to me. I like the silly little side stories that spice things up.
I love this show! and i honestly love Dan Stevens as Korvo, it suits who his character has become SO WELL. Also, with how sweet and horned up their relationship is, it feels so appropriate for Korvo to have some sort of obvious sex appeal. and a british accent really goes above and beyond to sell him in every flirtation with Terry.
Solar Opposites doesn't have a bad episode over its entire run. The animation clearly had an improved quality in the newest season, not that it was ever lacking good animation. Various rays and devices that have been established are used or brought up when they would logically be used again, not just done for fan service (think meeseeks). The voice acting has always been peak and Dan Stevens is doing better than Justin Roiland did. Characters have a lot of depth even for trivial unimportant things, Yumyulack has mentioned his love for chowder numerous times which while so far irrelevant to any story telling its been one of the small details kept consistent throughout multiple seasons. They also have some good foreshadowing, I might be wrong but id put money on there being a little buddy episode next season due to the make alive ray being used on the backyard. I still like Rick and Morty but this has far surpassed it.
With the 5th team member, Greg is going to return to try and get revenge, but now as a gold cop, will help. Also you weren’t getting evil queen vibes from Cherie. When Duke shows(forgot his name)seeing Pez will jog his memory, and he will try to talk sense to her. Becoming her advisor
In the beginning of Solar Opposites I used to tell people it was Rick and Morty, but better. and especially after the newest season I completely stand by this!
Fun Fact: If someone likes to know how they handeld the voice change in other Language dubs. Here in Germany they changed his voice just for this one episode last season a bit and its just the same voice actor as before. So germany never had a Voice actor change and no the new old voice actor is not doing a british accent in german (he only did once for the first episode of the last season). still better then randomly switch out the germans in malcom in the middle with danish people. I was allways confused that otto liked german car brands that much.
Solar Opposites allowed its characters to subtly evolve over time. Rick and Morty keeps them going in circles, while actively mocking the viewers for wishing that they would evolve. Solar Opposites >>> Rick and Morty!!
I love Solar Opposites sm and I'm glad that it's getting the recognition it deserves. It feels like almost everyone I talk to knows about Rick and Morty, but the engagement rate for Solar Opposites social media is kinda abysmal compared to the other.
Adding onto the idea that pop culture is how the Solar Opposites learn about earth culture, its also informed how they treat other people and each other. They refer to themselves by the title of their show, they frequently do asides for jokes, and worst of all, they treat literally everyone they meet as disposable side characters in the sitcom they've made out of their lives. They live and act free of consequence because they view themselves as "main characters". I freaking love the Solar Opposites, I'm glad you're helping get more eyes on it and I cant fucking wait for more.
I really, really want a SilverCops spin-off series, lol. I always get so excited anytime they add to the SilverCops storyline/lore in a Solar Opposotes episode.
Liking and commenting for engagement. I had to close this right at this beginning because I didn't realize I'd somehow missed a new season of Solar Opposites. Be back to watch the whole thing soon! You're the best, Johnny!
Even before watching the first episode, I hypothesized that the show would be "(P)Solar Opposites" with Rick and Morty in all the most key ways, excluding science being a key theme. Rick and Morty as a title is a combination of Doc and Marty, and Rigor Mortis. Meaning it's cosmic horror at its center. Solar Opposites is not a direct combination of names and phrases, but it is inspired by the trope of The Odd Couple (opposites that live together), and in the context of possibly sharing a universe with Rick and Morty. And once I watched it, I found I was definitely right. Notice in this show, instead of the family being from earth, and being led by someone who longs to leave and find a more meaningful existence.. the family is from another planet, and the one science guy is only concerned with leaving the planet because he wants to get back to an old, familiar place. Planet Shlorp. And the central theme varies in each episode, whereas the theme is always generally cosmic horror in Rick and Morty. The B stories in Solar Opposites are the most canonical and the most deeply fascinating, where it is the A story that is neglected from episode to episode that makes up the deepest and most interesting parts of Rick and Morty. And Dan Harmon is a narcissist who loves to add poetically perfect concepts to his work to make a point, which I find hilarious, because he's a self declared Nihilist, who doesn't care about anything. And he hates when people predict his writing, and that also, ironically, makes him a little more predictable. Edit: they also share the key theme of the importance of family and the futility of resistance to family ties
I think I’m one of the few people who has seen both and disagrees with this sentiment. I love every season of Rick and Morty and I feel like Solar Opposites has kinda fallen off in S3 or 4. I haven’t seen S5 yet and when I do I think I’ll rewatch the entire series since that greatly improves my feelings on shows. I just feel like S3 and 4 was when the family’s plots started to feel forgettable and S4 both side plots felt lost. Again maybe this rewatch will really help me, I’ll see.
Solar opposites, like the top comment said doesn’t insult us. It leans into being many different things without faulting. It’s pretty impressive actually. and they allow us to enjoy the lore without us feeling weird about it.
You finally got me. Sat down and started watching Solar Opposites while I was sick this week. Immediately hooked, binged to Season 4, starting that tonight. You know how to call them, great show.
Huge fan of both. They’re both different with a few deep connections. SO has a much stronger side story than R&M’s side stories for sure, but overall they’re both great in their own unique way. The pop culture/sci-fi references are different as well with R&M blending science AND fiction, but the jokes land for those that are true sci-fi nerds that know their stuff; whereas with SO the jokes are more broad given the characters’ motivations towards being more human through tv and consumerism. I’ll always love both of em…plus as a gay guy, how could I not like an adult animated series where two of the main characters are a gay couple? 😅💁♂️
2:37 and I LOVED Season 7 of Rick and Morty and the fact that there New voice actors for Both Rick and Morty does sound on point to the point where I barely Miss Roiland these days and there writing of episodes have gotten better
One way I can see the three story lines coming in together is say maybe somewhere out there in the universe there’s another shlorp that just got destroyed and since the schlorpians have terraformed so many planets, it would leave only a few available places to go. Maybe there’s a huge schlorp invasion on earth, which would get the silver cops involved, I’m sure someone can think of a better explanation for the wall/yard plot coming into play but I feel like in order for three plots to come together for one big finale, the schlorpians have to be involved
Honestly the ‘Loony Toons’ episode was one of the funniest episodes of TV I have seen in a long time. I was legitimately laughing out loud alone in my apartment. But as others have pointed out, the actual romance between Terry and Korvo has me actually caring about the interpersonal relationships, which I was never expecting from this show that regularly hand waves so much away as ‘sci-fi’ in the best way possible.
as much as I LOVED Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty but I will admit that Solar Opposites safe to say that YES I'd think Solar Opposites did surpass Rick and Morty in many ways plus I'd think Dan Stevens nails the voice for Krovo and makes it way better when what Roiland ever did making it sound like Rick from the first three seasons
Is solar opposites maybe a universe outside the Rick and Morty universe . Remember evil Morty destroyed that curb/curve whatever it’s called that separated their universes from infinity
I think solar opposite is just less cringe than Rick and Morty. I used to love Rick and Morty then their fan base completely ruined it and make it embarrassing to be a Rick and Morty fan
I can agree with you. I love both shows equality. I don't really think that Rick and Morty show is cringe, but I think that the Rick and Morty fandom is cringe because of people who think it's ok to ship Rick and Morty. It's truly disappointing. For now, Solar Opposites fandom is fine.
i had low expectations for season 5, idk something about the trailer just didn't do it for me. that being said i think this is one of my favorite seasons. the backyard stuff really took the cake for me. and the what if episode was just too good
A good way to combine all three stories is to have the pupa form a bond with Cherie. This bond cause the pupa to become overloaded and threatens to take over the entire universe and make every planet into shlorp. So we have silver cops wanting the stop the pupa, Cherie wanting to help the pupa and become queen of the universe and then we have the solar opposites having to decide what side to join
Im on my second rewatch of Solar Opposites. I used to love R&M but grew out of it, then i found Solar Opposites and i just knew i was gonna love it. I love anything alien and weird so this was right up my alley.
Phenomenal breakdown. I like Solar Opposites more than Rick and Morty simply because of the background plot exploration. Its not as ego-driven as R & M.

see i didn’t even know rick and morty HIT season 7…. i seriously haven’t even heard someone mention the show in probably a year. wild to see how it’s changed since season 2
I really loved Season 5! So many fresh ideas and unexpected takes where I thought things might settle into normalcy eventually. Very happy to see love being put into bold ideas, however silly, to pull them off with style 😊👌
Regarding the Wall The mention of a possible Wall vs the Backyard Plotline, I most suspect 1 of 2 Scenarios 1. A War breaks out during Winter due to Resources and Warmth 2. A Holy War regarding this Woman who may have just preformed a miracle simply by proclaiming her reign and the original Wall Cult who might want the baby back.
I always felt like Solar Opposites was what Rick and Morty was kind of supposed to be: A sci-fi sitcom with no real driven narrative, just simple and fun adventures. While Rick and Morty HAS accomplished what it’s done, I think I speak for everyone when I say the writing can be kind of condescending or just exhausting, explaining its lore and everything that’s happened. I initially thought the whole point of Rick’s character was him making fun of those tropes but how ironic that he ended up falling under the things he made fun of.
I find myself enjoying solar opposites a lot more and it keeps me coming back for their ‘the wall’ and ‘silver cops’ serialised specials. The main show is constantly making me laugh and I absolutely loved the extended looney tunes bit they did
Hey, I noticed that the water plotline in the Wall storyline had a striking resemblance to the plot of Rango. could you consider watching that movie as homework?
I literally just binge watched all seasons in the past three days, and ngl, I didn't have a lot of expectation towards it, but it surprised me a lot I started watching it because of Terry and Korvo's relationship and I love the direction they are taking it
This season was real good.. and the wall is always interesting and even the space cops kinda breaks up the pacing. Also the way that one guy owned corvo was hilarious.
ive been interested in watching solar opposites since i saw ads about season 5 but im curious so i need to watch the first 3 seasons with justin roiland or is it fine to start at season 4 with the new guy?
I had this weird deja vu when I saw the silver Cops episode and I could have sworn that was a thing Jerry did on Rick and Morty and he did! What did the Green Lantern knock-off joke in both these shows
I think I would say Solar Opposites has a more consistent quality than Rick and Morty does, in terms of season to season and episode to episode, but when Rick and Morty is great it exceeds Solar Opposites. That coupled with the cultural impact Rick and Morty has had, whereas I feel like a lot of the general public doesn't know Solar Opposites even exists. What's wild is when it comes to both show, I don't know if I'd rather both go on forever or have well-thought out conclusions within a few seasons.
Hard agree. I still love Rick and Morty but Solar Opposites easily sucked me in with the first season. I’m hoping after the hiatus and anime Season 8 will be able to be more consistent or even better than 7.

I don’t think so
I love both shows and rewatch them often. The way they handled the voice change in Solar Opposites was brilliant. Thanks for this video!
Yeah I also really enjoy both shows and the way they handled the voice swap was perfect and such in character for the show
I think Rick and Morty did the right move by not addressing it. Either it was going to be a 4th wall joke (perhaps Dan didn’t want to make it so soon) or some in universe explanation/sci fi concept (although I would assume Rick would try to reverse it)
@@Salza02 I agree, a fourth wall gimmick would not have worked in Rick and Morty.
The voice change killed solar opposites for me, sucks
Solar opposites 🤝🏾 Futurama 🤝🏾 American Dad
Honestly a big fan of the new voice for Korvo, was a breath of fresh air.
I agree. For some reason, the Rick Sanchez voice makes Korvo feel like nothing more than a reskin of Rick. The new voice thrust Korvo into the territory of being his own character.
I love the new Korvo!! His voice sounds way more natural and funny. The old Roiland voice sounded super forced sometimes.
Agreee!!!!
@@Chigger Didn't like it last season as it just felt off. this season it clicked and the comedic timing was just right
Okay you convinced me 🙄 I’ll go & finish the show
high popularity on its own can kill shows, but when you add 4th wall breaking characters and creator-fan interaction that literally affects if they do serialization or episodic story telling, youre flying into the sun
You know I love it when you talk Solar Opposites. I haven’t quite had time to watch all of Season 5 yet but what I’ve seen has kept me happy. And yes, am still convinced they made the right call hiring Dan Stevens to voice Korvo. He is excellent.
Solar Opposites with the English accented Corvo makes it feel like an Americanized version of a classic British sitcom.
Between all the subplots, and this season making 'F Consequences!' a running gag, I genuinely wouldn't be shocked if even more massive permanent shakeups affecting the Opposites were on the horizon.
solar opposites is the american dad to rick and morty's family guy
People are stupid [and confusing]."
And that's the backbone of the show, them trying to fit in, total trivialities of Earth culture becoming incredibly important to them, while their disastrous actions to earth people are shrugged off as inconsequential.
To me this is fricken hilarious and very entertaining. And the best thing is they don't learn in a personal way like with a human would. Add the Wall saga, and Silvercops, I find "Solar opposites"'a lot more entertaining than the recent Rick & Mortys.
Brilliantly said!
Solar opposites doesn’t have the same high’s like the 🕳️, vat of acid, etc, but it doesn’t have the AWFUL episodes like the semen one. It’s consistently good to great.
Cringe, yes
Entertaining, also yes
R&M Definitely fits Adult Swim
I love this show so much. Every episode is unique and fresh. Reminds me that sitcom adult animation is still where it’s at!
I don’t really like making many comparisons. I think both shows are fine in their own right. I am glad that Solar Opposites is being appreciated.
I said just the other day how Solar Opposites is the biggest breath of fresh air I get in any season of TV.
I liked when Korvo dropped the Rick Sanchez voice and got his own, Honestly just kinda tired of it outside Rick and Morty
I was skeptical, but got used to the new voice one episode into it. the voice is so different but the delivery is so Korvo.... and funnier.
I gotta love evil people with british accents
@@pepitocovid-91 he is not evil... just... sincere.
Also, with how sweet and horned up their relationship is, it feels so appropriate for Korvo to have some sort of obvious sex appeal. and a british accent really goes above and beyond
to sell him in every flirtation with Terry.
I'm glad i recognized Mr Krabs's voice actor this season
Fun Fact: If someone likes to know how they handeld the voice change in other Language dubs. Here in Germany they changed his voice just for this one episode last season a bit and its just the same voice actor as before. So germany never had a Voice actor change and no the new old voice actor is not doing a british accent in german (he only did once for the first episode of the last season). still better then randomly switch out the germans in malcom in the middle with danish people. I was allways confused that otto liked german car brands that much.
That's so funny they actually DID change the voice actor in italian
Solar Opposites allowed its characters to subtly evolve over time. Rick and Morty keeps them going in circles, while actively mocking the viewers for wishing that they would evolve. Solar Opposites >>> Rick and Morty!!
I really do like The Wall and Silvercops.
Korvo new voice fits perfect haha
I love Solar Opposites sm and I'm glad that it's getting the recognition it deserves. It feels like almost everyone I talk to knows about Rick and Morty, but the engagement rate for Solar Opposites social media is kinda abysmal compared to the other.
I absolutly love that the show is completely in a what if scneario it makes it so much funnier
We already know the ending tho…. Solar opposites vs gold cops and wall people and (maybe they add ANOTHER storyline)
Some crazy final battle stuff
Liking and commenting for engagement. I had to close this right at this beginning because I didn't realize I'd somehow missed a new season of Solar Opposites. Be back to watch the whole thing soon! You're the best, Johnny!
Solar Opposites is the Futurerama to Rick and Morty's The Simpsons in terms of how both shows are treated by their fans
Where does the clip of Tim bashing Korvo's skull against the class at 1:48 come from?? I can't find anything on it online
Season 3 episode 4, Hululand
It actually doesn't happen, Tim hallucinated all of that before dying fyi!
I love Solar Opposites
So excited to hear you’re updating the wall episode but now with that knowledge I have to suffer a wait
2:37 and I LOVED Season 7 of Rick and Morty and the fact that there New voice actors for Both Rick and Morty does sound on point to the point where I barely Miss Roiland these days and there writing of episodes have gotten better
Better? Idk bout tha
Can’t wait for the next video talking about the wall me personally I’m not the biggest fan of the silver cops storyline up until this season it got my attention but can’t wait to see where it goes
see i didn’t even know rick and morty HIT season 7…. i seriously haven’t even heard someone mention the show in probably a year. wild to see how it’s changed since season 2
I really loved Season 5! So many fresh ideas and unexpected takes where I thought things might settle into normalcy eventually. Very happy to see love being put into bold ideas, however silly, to pull them off with style 😊👌
I love your commentary on some of my favorite shows. Thank you for the videos you create, especially the Futurama ones!
Genuinely this thumbnail and video is how I knew there was a 5th season. thanks will be binging!
I can't help but think My Rebel Ponies when I see that one episode with the Silver Cops! 😂
Regarding the Wall
The mention of a possible Wall vs the Backyard Plotline, I most suspect 1 of 2 Scenarios
1. A War breaks out during Winter due to Resources and Warmth
2. A Holy War regarding this Woman who may have just preformed a miracle simply by proclaiming her reign and the original Wall Cult who might want the baby back.
I've never seen solar opposites, but I've always wanted to check it out period and wondered if it was worth doing so.
Solar opposites like American dad is the only show I know that can accomplish a consistent and compelling A B & C plot every episode
It's Jonny 2 Cellos videos on the wall plot lines that got me into the show
I always felt like Solar Opposites was what Rick and Morty was kind of supposed to be: A sci-fi sitcom with no real driven narrative, just simple and fun adventures.
I like both shows, but Solar Opposites is one of my favourite shows on the air right now. It just has so much more heart and energy to it.
I literally just binge watched all seasons in the past three days, and ngl, I didn't have a lot of expectation towards it, but it surprised me a lot
I started watching it because of Terry and Korvo's relationship and I love the direction they are taking it
I don't know if I want Solar Opposites to end. I think expanding the wall storyline will always keep me invested.
Your idea for the ending is brilliant, and I hope they do it!
BTW I loved the helldivers
and my little pony reference with the whole ponyworld silvercops bit lmao
This season was real good.. and the wall is always interesting and even the space cops kinda breaks up the pacing. Also the way that one guy owned corvo was hilarious.
The new backyard arc really feels like a grounded easter egg :) and as a long time grounded player it was a nice touch ❤
ive been interested in watching solar opposites since i saw ads about season 5 but im curious so i need to watch the first 3 seasons with justin roiland or is it fine to start at season 4 with the new guy?
some of the pop culture refernces are so specific it makes me laugh even harder. like It surprises me sometimes the random things they will bring up
Insane how Dan Harmon self insert snark and Sezuan sauce guy killed the hype for Rick and Morty enough for another show to shine on it's own
I had this weird deja vu when I saw the silver Cops episode and I could have sworn that was a thing Jerry did on Rick and Morty and he did!
😂 sorry.I just realized I hadn't subscribed to your channel yet.I've listened to about thirty of your videos, love the content subscribed now
American Dad to Family guy
Futurama to The Simpsons
Slow growth with constant world building always wins
Would you ever do a review on Mike Mcmahans other animated series Startrek Lowerdecks?
I think the problem with Rick & Morty is the release schedule and their fans.
it's refreshing to see a b plot or even c plot taken seriously. the wall episodes are still my favorite part of the show, and they scratched an itch that hasn't been scratched since, even if the ending was a bit dissapointing
