- In the year 2058, Kripparian is the Lead Designer of Blizzards still popular cyber game Hearthstone. The grandson of an old Blizzard employee has come to challenge Kripp to an honor duel to prevent Kripp from deleting the Priest class and replacing it with Death Knight.

RWV: This is a parody of Yugioh and Hearthstone. Man was this video fun to make, I'm really happy with the soundwork considering the entire project from start to finish was done in a single night. Videos like these have a lot of inside jokes in the communities and sometimes those jokes can be time sensitive. The general joke behind this video is that Hearthstone announced the card Purify and it's a pretty janky card and the community went into an uproar. Deadbones is such a solid voice actor and really made this video awesome. - เกม

Rank 20 is the threshold where casual players stop playing, because at rank 20 in ranked mode, you earn a card back and that's what most players want.
it's the lowest rank you can be without being a completely new player. basically, all noobs and casuals or people who don't play constructed often hover around rank 20
The joke is that rank 20 is basically the lowest rank a player can get by actually playing the game. You can't lose ranks from 25-20, so no matter how terrible you are, you're pretty much guaranteed to hit rank 20. Basically rank 20 players are the worst active players in the world.

ah yes, my yearly rewatch of this anime masterpiece
For those confused; Kripperino played Trogg > Totem Golem > Flame Juggler (overloaded for 1) > 4 mana 7/7 > coin, 4 mana 7/7. There's a single frame in the video stating, "In the future of Hearthstone, the player who goes first gets the coin." On the final turn Ben Brode Jr. would've already had silence so would've been able to silence the 4 mana 7/7 that Kripp had just played which wasn't silenced by mass dispel, then he could've played the purifier and purify would've triggered it's effect then as there were 5 silenced minions on Kripp's side of the board.
The most important mistake made Kripp hardly ever emotes. That aside this was amazing and one of the best created, thank you for this laugh.
He drew a normal Silence earlier that he cast on the new 4 mana 7/7; you can hear the sound effect for it being cast around 4:05 when he says he assembled the perfect board state.
+Andrew Hovanec ahh thank you for pointing that out, I remembered the silence draw, but forgot about it when I saw the when 5 minions are silenced. Now that you pointed it out I can hear it, also I am not laughing really loud to overshadow the ambient noises that took place.

You're all overlooking the fact that if you cast Purify on the Purifier, it will be silenced and its card text will do nothing.

@d Nincs, I don't think so... a minion's effect always occur AFTER whatever triggers it. It's this way with every minion in the game that has a card spell effect. This is why you can't trigger pyromancer if you cast the 0mana silence onto it.
Some cards got higher trigger priorities than other, like how the knight that reduces damage to 1 will trigger always first no matter the order when you played it... Purifier just has a higher priority.

Why didn't he dispel the tunnel trogg on turn 3? How did Kripp play the 4 mana 7/7 on turn 5 after he had played one the turn earlier and had 2 overcharge?
He doesn't dispel because no one would waste dispel at that point in the game whereas mass dispel (which he started with) still cycles. Kripp both stats the game and has the coin, it mentions it in the video.
The real reasons is because I'm lazy and spent 12 hours on an already time sensitive meme. These puppies only live for a day or too. Gotta get em out quickly.
A cleaner fix would had been to make lil' brode say: " how did you summon a 4 mana minion if you are overloaded??"" and Kipp responded: " Screw the rules i am a Shaman!!"

All kripp needed was 4 damage from hand. He starts tunnel trog into totgolem, attacks for 2, ben brode jr heals for 2. Next turn he attacks for 5, plays juggler for 1 extra damage, BBjr heals for 2, is now at 24. He then plays the 4 mana 7-7 attacks for 9, BBjr mass dispels, is now at 15. Next turn kripperino has 11 damage on board, only needs 4 from hand to win. If he had a flametongue totem the unicorn play would't even have a chance to happen.
he didn't heal the first time trogg attacked him at least so don't think he did
and the faceless attacked twice because he played another one after the turn the first attacked

Jeremy Waites turn1 pass ,turn 2 heropower and emote, turn 3 heropower, turn 4 mass dispel. He healed for 4 in total.

Wow this video blew up quick, but it was a great video, so it deserves to. I'd say by the end of next week, it will have reached close to or a little over 600,000 views, and I'm guessing he will gain in the range of 10kk to 20k more subscribers. Pure genius and perfect timing, it doesn't get any better than that folks. Hopefully this guy will continue to make more funny memes in the future. He definitely has a talent for it.
