One of their best! Very powerful chorus and a serene bridge. Also perfectly captures the ... patriotic maybe? ... spirit of the original opening. At least that's how I'd put it. Also for the EP as a whole, it builds up great to this 4th and final piece, which wraps it up with a flourish!

Fantastic, which is of course what we expect from Epica :-). Complex vocal lines and rhythms. Such power - and that interlude at 3:00 just sounds incredible. My speakers aren't turned up anywhere near loud enough! Trying to convert my godson into a metalhead from the crap he usually listens to. He loves Attack on Titan, so I'm hoping this EP will get him into metal \m/.
I never got around to finishing AoT but I do appreciate a band I love shamelessly covering an anime song. Two of my favorite things are being combined into one: symphonic metal and anime! I love every aspect of this cover.
