First - Escapist, Not the Nightwish track - which, by the way, is incredible in its own right -- but the band out of Argentina. Very little known. I think only one album release ("Hidden Memories"), but it is truly outstanding! Hard to believe that almost no one in the Symphonic Metal world has ever heard of the group. Also - Follow The Cipher. Not strictly Symphonic Metal (maybe more "Power Metal"), but whatever. A Sabaton spin-off of sorts, and only one release as well (very recent), but again -- outstanding.

I been in love of this Epica covers since i hear them, now that season 3 is over I realize the massive spoiler at 2:50. I'm not a manga reader thats why only on the anime I discover that. I don't know if the members of Epica read the manga or someone related to the anime help with the lyrics but tha't a big spoiler right there jajajajajajaja.

Esta canción junto con otras 2 de su mismo EP ("Wings Of Freedom" y "Crimson Bow and Arrow") son lo mas cerca que han estado del sonido PM en toda su carrera, y eso porque son covers.

Todo lo mencionado solo en este EP y eso es todo.
I love Epica so so much, so I give anything they present the time of day whether it's meh or amazing. Just watched the first episode last night. The ragey kid annoys me. Too much like me as a teenager. But I need to know what happens because the lyrics are super interesting to me.
Oh and I really like what Epica did with the lyrics. They couldn't just do a direct translation of the original lyrics (would sound very awkward). But the new lyrics fit the series so well..."turn your anger into hate and save us."

I like Epica, but those lyrics completely ruin the original morale and meaning of the song, which was basically "We dedicate and sacrifice our hearts for humanity." Heck, I even heard a cover that used "You've heard the call, devote your all, our freedom lies beyond the wall" and I thought that was amazing too. Using "the promised land" sounds so corny and goes against the whole theme of SnK/AoT, which was a desperate struggle for a bloody freedom....not some trite promised holy land.
That's the best translation of the lyrics so far. I also like the version "We dedicate, we dedicate, our lives we dedicate". It's the literal translation. Wish they used these lyrics, combined with their epic cover it would have been so good!
