The profiling on this beauty is spectacular! The banked turns and curves are hugging throughout, spots where the track seem to just switch orientation look subtly intense. This is exactly what this theme park needed and I'm so happy for USH to finally get an S tier attraction. Its been long over due. Not to mention, its not just an attraction on a plot of land....Its a coaster traversing several terrain gradients (Top, Middle, Bottom) on the hillside. We already can see that they're cookin within the layout and controlled spin aspect...They really need to go full send and really incorporate iconic Los Angeles street racing/Art for theming. I truly hope they dont drop the ball with the theming. Its SO EASY. YOU'RE IN LOS ANGELES, IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, WHERE MOVIES ARE MADE! This needs to be extremely themed to really give it the extra umpf! ITS HOLLYWOOD!
Yeah. It's a perfect fit for the park! And I really hope theming will be incredible! But it feels like there's only so much they can do on a hillside. Fingers crossed!
This is looking to be one of the best coasters in the states. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on par with Velocicoaster. Universal really does coasters best. Stardust Racers this year, and this next year. Wow.
7:00 I think that's got to be part of the queue, I hope the train faces backwards at some point to look at the queue there, I bet it will face down while over the escalator, as part of the finale.
Pleasantly surprised the track over the escalator is a curved airtime hill like something you'd see on a woodie. It reminds me of the large curving drops of the San Diego Giant Dipper. I'm really curious to see what that dive loop by the comcast building is going to look like now.
This ride will bump up the park although there are improvements that the park can make like making the Mario kart ride into a virtual ride like the simpsons and improving the mummy ride as well
Wouldnt the smallest earthquake or one bad day of rainfall cause the structure to shift? I am worried about that but I’m sure they took that into account
That's an understandable concern. But the footings are down very deep. To either bedrock or a point that's determined to be sufficient. If you check out my earlier F&F vlogs, you'll see how deep they went. Hope this answers your question. 😃
Amazing! Thanks! I'm planning on getting out there Tuesday or Wednesday. Almost feels like I gotta do both in order to catch anything because I have the worst luck.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork I know! Track should still be able to go up as long as it isn't raining while they want to put it up. Track Probably went up last night.
I’m so perplexed by this coaster. Like, that first 3rd is shallow so how fast are we really going in order to make it through to the MCBR🤔 I’ve also heard more than once that this ride will max out at 73 mph, which is crazy if that’s true! It would be faster than Velocicoaster, but not as tall(?) How?? I got so many questions😵💫😅
What he said. That launch from the lowest part of the ride has to be super fast in order to get the train all the way back up the hill and into that massively tall stall. It's gonna be one heck of an ending!
Oh my God universal studios hollywood is a great place america's coaster network oh you I forgot why just go to knott's berry farm got new update how that new update knott's berry farm and six flags magic mountain too mmm maybe new update
I'll get back to Knott's soon. Gotta get my pass figured out. Haven't been able to add the "all parks passport" for legacy Cedar Fair parks to my Six Flags membership.

First! I can’t believe how much progress they have made!

That escalator video shot you got with the track above was excellent!
I appreciate it! And, funny enough, I was considering redoing it because I didn't like what I was saying. 😂
They’re building this fast and furiously! This is a gigantic coaster on the level of X2. No joke!
X2 is the only other coaster that I would compare it to in terms of scale, importance, and excitement level while watching the construction.
Certainly with all the gray. Tatsu is comparable being also a terrain coaster!
But X2 wasn't grey when it was new.
Universal is building that quickly. It would take Disney more than a decade to complete a project like that.
LOOKING GOOD 👍 👌!! THANKS for sharing the updates on this badass news rollercoaster 🎢
Thanks for watching!

Absolutely! I think it'll easily be a top 10 coaster in the country!
Rip ride rocket replacement the year after? 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
@@JohnHuitema for sure! Since RRR is closing down in September this year, I would expect it's replacement to open in 2027.
Are we sure we’re not getting this ride late 2025? Jk I’m just shocked how fast they’re moving lmao
I wouldn't be surprised if it opened in late 2025.
It’s only February!
@@stephenn77 Blame the weather, it’s been a very dry winter, so that gives them more time to work on the rollercoaster
It’s 2026
They DESPERATELY needed a thrill coaster at this park.
Yeah. Hopefully this isn't the last.
That track is beautiful
4:40 You will still see the track, the scream shield will only be on the side facing the backlot, so we should see the track from this area.
Yeah, I assume that you'll be able to ase the track from the Simpsons area. But wasn't sure how much the shield would rap underneath the track.

Oh yeah! Nice comparison! I love the curves on SD Dipper!
Whoa!
This ride will bump up the park although there are improvements that the park can make like making the Mario kart ride into a virtual ride like the simpsons and improving the mummy ride as well
At 8:43 you can see what I believe is a calibrator on the connecting support, so track should be placed there soon.
Oh? Nice catch! Thanks!
Going up right now! @@AmericasCoasterNetwork
Yup!
There appear to be mounting points on the bottom of the last two pieces of track that were installed. I'm curious what those are for.
Oh yeah? Hmmm. Good question. I'll have to see for myself next time I'm there.
It’s for the catwalks
I’m just a little worried that the sound shield will worsen the view of the track above the escalator
From the top of the escalators, you should still be able to see track. It'll just be blocking sound from going away from the park.
W vid like always❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊

Track went up last night, for the drop after the Stall. This Tuesday or Wednesday could be the Stall if they continue in that direction!

ACN What Element Is That Roller Coaster Part that is over the escalators?
Not sure what to call it. Pretty unique.
I think Jr. Dive Loop suits the element well
Non-inverting dive loop?
Airtime hill into a banked turn..

So… is a velocicoaster but fast theme
It'll spin too. So VelociCoaster meets Guardians.
