  • Waverley XL is a new collection of sample-based instruments I'm working on. Coming soon! Here's a couple of my favourite instruments controlled with the touchscaper sequencer. I'm also using Nembrini Audio's wonderful Delay3000 to process touchscaper's built-in drums and also some Eventide Blackhole reverb on one of the XL instances.
I screen record most of my test "noodle" sessions (in case something goes wrong...) and I liked how this one came out (especially as nothing seemed to go wrong) so I thought I'd share it.
Partly inspired by a Sound Test Room video Doug did about doing chilled-out tunes at super slow tempos. This one is 20 BPM.

Blackhole makes everything great but to be honest your app and your skills made this superb to begin with. I can't wait to noodle with touchscaper again!

And yes, I do a lot of test noodles with this chord progression as I really like it :-) It's a progression that was "suggested" by the touchscaper chord navigator feature. Please do check that out if you have the app.

Ludicrous on an iPad. It sounds like 10ks worth of gear. Amazing again Rob.

Thanks John! To be fair, it's only sampled from gear worth about half that :-) Plus that Nembrini Audio delay and Eventide reverb make everything sound a bit posh!
