Annie if you have the same shelf as me you have to unscrew two screws that’s usually under the shelf, it gets the actual shelf from off the bracket that’s on the wall☺️

in england most people only have one duvet (comforter) and just change the duvet covers and sheets each week

An easier way to put the duvet in is to turn the cover inside out, then line up the insert with the 4 corners then roll it up toward the opening and put it inside, then you can shake it out to make it fully in.
I don’t know if those were good instructions but you can look up a video of explaining it better :)
