Yay, Freya's not mad at us anymore! Well. Is slightly less mad. The Big Argument is... oof. It's tough finding the most hurtful thing to say with pinpoint accuracy, well done team. My favourite part though is Kratos unbuckling Mimir from his belt and holding him up after Atreus cusses at him--you know it's dire when Dad unclips Other Dad so they can both yell at the Boy. I wonder if that's born at least in part from Mimir helping raise the kid and Kratos relying on him to puzzle out some of the things Atreus doesn't say by his body language and expressions precisely when things got too much ;-;
I am sad that this is a zero to minimal side quest run. I understand the reasoning, but some of the lore is fun. That being said, I am still excited for your thoughts on the main story. side note: Ugh! Heimdall is such a douche!!
If you want to see Richard Schiff in an amazing role watch Manhattan. It only got two seasons as it was cancelled, but it was some damn good television and it was my introduction to him :)
It's a spin off of "backseat driver" where someone in the backseat of the car tells you how to drive (e.g., don't go so fast! Turn here! etc.). So the complaint is that they don't get to figure out and play the game themselves because people are yelling at them to do things.
Just a little reminder that Atreus causes 90% of the problems in this game.... And the little cherry on top is we have to play as the little rat with his awful gameplay and glass like health bar
Blaming a child for wanting to know about their own history is an interesting take. By your logic wouldn’t his parents be responsible since his mother knew the prophecy but still had a child?
@UnrealGenius if there was nothing else happening then sure, but he lied, hid things and turned on everyone, his selfishness led to Broks death and he kicked the first domino to causing Ragnarok, no because the whole point was she wanted them to lead their own path which thanks to Kratos they did by the end, Kratos changed fate and saved the realms, Atreus just moans about war for all the game, Sindris shouting in the temple is spot on, he's a selfish kid who never learned from from his previous experience of being selfish in the first game
I really like the one sided conversations Loki/Atreus has with animals because who among us hasn’t had those same conversations with a cat.
The real Ragnarok was the friends we froze and exploded along the way.
Odin definitely dropped Atreus in the river on purpose. I would have left immediately after that much disrespect. 😂
i can't get over the little shrug Atreus gives when asked "were you intending on killing me first thing?" xD xD xD
Aw nooo... we didn't get the line about trying to pick the lock of those chests when Atreus just ups and breaks it!

How come they are not doing side quest
@@chrisisaac2878 I believe it is to keep the series at a manageable length. Side quests can add a lot of time.
first BOY of the game definitely had an impact wow
Indeed can't blame him though his sons annoying as heck

Appreciated the raven song to Eleanor Rigby!
The Boy moment was so good. I mean, heart-breaking, but good. One word conveyed so much story
It's a shame to be playing a game like this and not doing any sidequests. I understand why, but some of them have my favorite moments in the game.
Agreed, it’d be one thing if they were just fetch quests but they all add so much context to everyone’s stories and the history of this world!
All-Father, more like All-Godfather
I forgot how foolhardy tray / Loki was in this game oh well at least we get more great performances
seekers from skyrim at the 22 minute mark?
The Boy done f'd up me think.
wow, I hate Atreus so much...
Hey johnny m8 just wondering when you play games do you ever think of gming sessions like are a lot like games?
What does back-seat a game mean?

@RoryStarr oh ok I get it. Thanks for clarification
I don't think I can safely express my thoughts about thor without getting my youtube account banned for sexually explicit content forever
So real for that
