Everyone's talking about how amazing this song is, but MAN those dancers performed well. I feel like some of their dances were actually hypnotizing because of how strange but cool it looked, and the blank faces mixed with the strange dance moves- It's like weirdly captivating, and I feel like those feats are IMPRESSIVE to achieve.

TDCC has been my favorite band ever since. 6 years ago my brother killed himself, I never hear this song without thinking of my brother. Adding on to this, the key is F# minor which means that the seventh chord on the tonic would be minor as well. I totally forgot about this band until yesterday and have been listening. I was in college in the early 2010’s and remember them on the radio while I worked on campus. So glad I remembered them.
Same. Indie pop, synthpop dubstep/brostep and metalcore/post hardcore all in the cultural zeitgeist around this time. Fond memories of post hs graduation and college/party years.
It was a great time to be in college. Indie rock was everywhere and it seemed like new and good bands were coming out left and right.

I have the fondest memory of discovering this song on this Vh1 show called Popup Video. I remember sitting in the floor on a Saturday morning at my Grandma’s house when I was probably like 13 or so. We didn’t have cable at my parents house so watching tv was a nice treat. I remember it being such a lovely day and the first thing I heard that morning was this song. The memory of this song makes me feel warm and fuzzy, like I’m 13 and visiting my Grandma for the weekend all over again. Yeah... this song has a special spot in my heart :)
I remember a lot of songs from pop up video 1997-2000. Also vh1 cardio video before school.
