This is one of the greatest movies of all time. What an EPIC score. Those french horns are just tear-inducing.
Yes they are !!
2:10 In the scene where the water divides and rises, the scale goes from low to high notes repeatedly... It's like the motion of the water is captured in the music itself, so we can not only see it but also hear it, which makes that scene even more powerful and gripping. Love it.
What's better is that the rising notes are divided between the left and right sections and are playing at different times. This leaves the main motif for God in the middle where the water divides. The trumpet is there for the shocker and shock factor and the strings playing the high notes are representing the rising tension or the rising water.
Amazing analysis
Kira Anima composers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Stephen Schwartz, and Jeremy Seoule LOVE doing this kinda stuff. Next time you watch Star Wars, you’ll notice a lot of the music either mimics creatures or blasters or sounds like a starry night sky. Pretty much any space movie that Hans Zimmer composed for us just instant with the spacey feel bc of music
For me, it almost brought me to completely crying with faith

What’s a human’s natural desire if they find they have a talent?
To pursue it.
So if God wants you to do something in life.
Often times He’ll give you the talent to do it.
Marc is a great musician.
Go figure.
You are absolutely right.
Never thought about it that way, that’s awesome
Holy shit those horn runs were perfect
Genius writing by Mr Zimmer !
The right and left horns complimenting the main composition is so powerfully beautiful. The ascending scale is so beautiful, as if it is raising your hair down your back
@@acadia5898Yes !! It's my favorite part from this piece :)
Marc, you and I need to do a collab! 🎺🔥
DCIaddict2601 Another collab just waiting to happen!
Gerardo Garcia I hope so! That would be dope!
*****sits back patiently and waits for this collab to happen*****
Did it happen yet??
This film score is one of my favorites. Hans Zimmer did a wonderful job showing the French Horns some love! John Williams is my ultimate favorite, but this score is happily in my collection.
The French Horn has Always been my favourite brass Instrument. From gentle mellow sounds up to the metallic vibes of a marching brass band - it's capable of so much
Oh yes it is :)
I still remember the first time I heard the music in this movie. It's good that I went to the movies alone, I was out of breath from the great emotion it caused me. And I still feel that way every time I hear it. What a great video.
That is the lord moving through you, thanks to the great music!!
tears dropped while I played this
Tears dropped when I recorded it ^^
Tears dropped while listening and witching I could play it😭
The film and the score and songs are all masterpieces and this performance is a brilliant tribute. Amazing job once again Marc... Magnifique!!!
Masterpieces indeed.
3:36 that part was beautiful music and visuals
I just wanted to let you know Marc Pageghin, this piece you did, was amazing. In a way, it was different from the movie, which I’ve seen many times, like different in a way I can only attempt to explain. It made me remember the extreme works and miracles of the Lord. I mean, the miracle of the Red Sea! God split the waters, and when he did, what was left? The sea ground, which had been covered with water for centuries, was completely dry!! I mean, that should never be possible!!! Listening to you just play the music practically brought me to tears with faith. And to anyone else who read the entire comment, I want to let you know that even though this movie was made for kids and everything, it all happened. Whenever you are feeling alone or sad, just remember that we are watched over by a God do awesome and powerful that, who is even willing to SPLIT an entire sea I half for some slaves. But the true and simple fact is, the Lord Almighty is willing to move mountains for us, because we are his, and he loves us more than eternity. So sorry for the long comment, but I needed to at least let you know Mr. Pageghin. Thank you for what you have given me and anyone else who watches this video. And I can only amagine that this is what the Lord made you for. Bringing people to him through your music! May the Lord our God bless you and everything you do!! 🥲
Please read the whole thing I had a lot on my mind!! Thanks!!
ahhhhh I didn't realize how much I needed to hear this piece with the horns brought out like this! Those ascending lines when the sea parts are just gorgeous. so nice to hear those pulled out of the piece.
I came back and cried again. Beautiful.

YOU SUCK
This is incredible. When you perform in chorus at the orchestral moment of the waves parting in the movie. Wow. You are so talented.
Really captures the grandiose of the original
1人で音楽してここまで迫力あるってかなりすごい😖💓
Best musically scored movie, BAR NONE! this scene ALWAYS gives me chills with the horns glissando!🥰🥰🥰
Magic music with magic performance👍👏😎
Awesome!!! My favorite movie and this is my favorite scene. I love how you conduct the 2/4 measure at 1:22 with your horn
Damn bruh... Those horn rips are awesome

Marc: oh god here we go...
Love what you're creating here. Cheers! YHWH bless you
He did not create anything. It's the music of the great Hans Zimmer.
This beautiful piece reminds me every day how much I suck at playing the French horn....beautiful sounds created by a beautiful instrument.
Another Prince of Egypt video? Yes please! :-D
Je compte plus le nombre de fois que je viens réécouter cette merveille mais à chaque fois les frissons sont fous!!
Literally started to tear up watching this 🥺
you play this so well with your horns it gets me every time I love this film and its music so you covering it so well means a lot props to you good sir!
Sweet! I'm gonna play along with this!
More Prince of Egypt. Please please please.
Wow! That is a very powerful piece of music.
Ooooh, that was good :D And you do such a great job of sticking the horn and trumpet parts right into the texture of the soundtrack. Sounds so natural.
This was so beautiful!!!! I was following every note and I was transfixed and lost in the music! Amazing job!
I've never seen a video like this! I'm amazed! I'm sharing everywhere hahaha I love it! Please, bring more!
Thanks ! A new one is coming very soon ;)
Great that you keep working on this one! The music of this film together with such poetic visuals really produce a religious experience.
THIS. IS. FREACKING AWESOME.
Epic AF!! love it
You are awesome, pal. I never could play a trumpet so good like they did the trumpeters that Hans Zimmer guied.
J'adore bravo ! je découvre la chaîne et je viens d’enchaîner une heure de vidéo. Ce score de Hans Zimmer est un chef d'oeuvre et ce morceau en particulier. Que des morceaux de bravoure dans cette soundtrack !!
Amazing. I love this BSO. Thank you for record it. Bravo!!! From Spain!!
Can you record the hunckback of Notre Dame please?? It is my favourite!!
You are such a beautiful horn player. My goodness.
Mesmerizing. A Yt video hasn't gripped me like this for a long time. Bravo
Simply fantastic!
You know you gotta give rameses props if i saw a fire tornado id give up right there
Oooh!! Another Prince of Egypt piece!
Marc this is wonderful and inspiring to play along with. The way you sequenced the visual from the movie with your playing and the score makes it so easy to join in, which is super satisfying! Plus you sound freaking great. I love that you are doing this. One request, when you're playing along, how do you sync up so well with the track? Do you use a video conductor track or something? I would love to see conducting before entrances - even just more cueing from the horn if possible, so I can be like your youtube section mate
Thanks Marc ! The best way is to create a tempo map of the track ( which often means going through the whole thing bar by bar to figure out all of the tempo and time signature changes ) and that tempo map will then enable me to record with a clicktrack perfectly synched to the piece :) But I don't systematically do that, when the piece has a very steady tempo for example I can easily play along without a click !
sounds so beautiful
すごすぎる、、。
ホルンの色かっこいい!!!こんな風に吹いてみたい😣😣
Hey Marc, I just discovered you through my brother and we are both such big fans of your work and your taste in music!
My brother just said that it seems like we are soulmates because you picked all of our favourite soundtracks to cover :D
Could you maybe cover Deliver Us?
Keep up the great work, it is such a pleasure to listen to you!!!
Greetings from Germany!
Vielen Dank !!
Haha that's cool, you have great taste in music then ^^
I've thought of doing Deliver us, it's such a breathtaking piece of music....ich werde darüber nachdenken ;)
Any chance we could get a Deliver Us cover as well? I love this movie and score so much and there are absolutely no records of it publicly. You are literally doing God's work sir!
First Voctave now beautiful french horn music...today is a good day :)
RIP Lips
Amen to that!!
As always such beautiful music
Thank you :)
3:03 though this part wasn’t written by Schwartz, I can see where he got the inspiration for the „Wicked - Unlimited theme“ from (except for „Somewhere over the rainbow“ of course)
I’ve been listening to Wicked and all I hear are octave intervals lol
Very well done sir
Most legendary Music EVER
I wish I could do more than like this video
There’s not a reason in fucking hell as to why this doesn’t have millions of views.

This song is cool.
Ok the prince of egypt is already the greatest movie of all in my opinion but the orchestra is the best part
love it
awesome man!!!!!
I wish I had to time and motivation to learn atleast 1 brass instrument haha
Amazing stuff man!
We're learning to notate this year at uni so watching this is helping me, kind of? lol
Still getting my head round it but it makes sense though.
It's fun to read along with the music, this was great!
This one is quite unusual with those "left" and "right" horn parts... you'll probably never see that again ^^
Excellent job
Love to see a Percussion vers of this. Those scales when the water splits must be murder to play! Well executed and clear!! I bet in the hands of a amateur that passage sounds like a elephant giving birth HAHA!
Amei amo musica
0:31 Awesome 😎 0:34 🎺 1:08-1:14 🔥 🌪 2:11-2:15, 2:19-2:22 part of the Red Sea! 4:26-4:38, 4:46 kill them all! 5:15 🌊 5:26-5:29 no! 5:31 wipeout!
AMAZING...!!!!
wow. Just wow
か、かっこいい…
Amazing!
Am I crazy or the Main Theme is very similar to the Where The Streets Have No Name's intro U2 song?! I'm like :o
OK , Hanz Zimmer is epic , no doubt. Tragic irony composed the score of the Dark knight with James Newton Howard.
good
God is amazing!😭
This is awesome!
wow holy shit
I love it
I actually feel sorry for Ramses he was only trying to do what his Father wanted. But it is bad. But you can't help but feel sorry for him.
I think this is what they wanted. To show the other side of story too.
The problem os that Ramses wanted to keep building Egypt from the backs of the slaves.
Concerning Hobbits. It already sounds amazing but you seem to have a knack of making great pieces sound better.
Nice dude ;D (from Normandy)
Also can you try to do plagues from this movie!
I will definitely think about it ;)
Here it is :)

@@Marc_Papeghin I JUST LEARNED HOW TO SEE THE COMMENTS! NO WAY loll I used to play trumpet but am now youtube university-ing how to play the horn, just marvelous work good sir
magnificent
3 seconds in I pressed like
고마워요 ^^
Epic🙄
Would you be able to play this masterpiece with a F horn? Because I think you play with a F/Bb horn isn't it? I play F horn and I can't reach these high notes :(
Not impossible but quite hard indeed ! An F/Bb is highly recommended
I like the prince of Egypt dreamworks Animation movie
What about the burning bush?
Legit the only reason I like playing horn is movie music. All other times we're just playing offbeats........... Sousa is particularly evil.
Are you able to explain how to count the switching from 4/4 to 5/4 then 6/4 47 seconds in, im trying to get back into playing and some of the time signatures are confusing to understand. Also is there a difference between 6/8 and 6/4, I’ve seen this a couple times and it seems like they are both a compound duple but what’s the difference if there is one? Or is that just a preference, like how people say tomato in two different ways even though it’s the same word?
Hey Alexandra ! Switching from 4/4 to 5/4 is quite easy, 5/4 is basically a 4/4 with one extra beat :) Same goes for 6/4, you just count 6 beats instead of 4.
As for 6/4 and 6/8, they are not the same thing.
6/4 is actually not a really common time signature so you shouldn't worry too much about it, but 6/8 definitely is !
I'd suggest you check out this link :) www.musical-u.com/learn/learn-to-hear-the-68-time-signature/
Thanks Christ for the Moses and other great prophets. And Hans Zimmer of course.
He is awesome.
