Super Mario Maker - 19 Amazing Automatic Levels

- Here I play through 19 crazy automatic levels from top-starred creator うささ / Usasa in Super Mario Maker for Wii U. I'm not a huge fan of those 'keep walk' / 'keep run' courses, but I have to admit that these were really amusing to watch. They do get repetitive after a while though.
Next time we'll be looking at levels from another creator!

Why do people hate auto-levels? They're so hilariously complicated and entertaining to see play out.

If that was the ONLY part of the game, then yeah it would suck. But this is something that you don't have to play. It's optional. It's a different spin on completing a level, and I can respect the work that goes into it.
You mean the 100 Mario challenge? Yeah, if you get one of those out of the what...16 levels(?) in that mode, then that's a little too free. But overall, the auto-levels are just done for the lulz which always gets a laugh out of me. It's like building a _Hot Wheels_ or an _I Coaster_ track as a kid but just way more hysterically complex since you have so many ways to play around with this simple concept.

Mario rides a green Koopa shell into the court room. Then hits a music block, flies back onto a spring that bounces him on top Bowser`s head, then falls in Peach`s sell as millions of shells roll in and defeat Bowser, leaving Peach and Mario free right next to the axe.

I bought the game too play it, not too watch lol.
Mario maker is supposed to be a GAME that you PLAY. Although you may have put tons of time and effort into making them, they still require no skill and are just boring to play. It's a shame that so many top makers have way too many level slots taken by auto levels, and still, they get stars. I'm sick of them! they have never been fun, and they never will be.

Watch this video at half speed to truly appreciate the levels.
One reason I think less people like these levels is because of the massive span of mobs and the all end in the same way, plus I can't keep track of Mario in any of these.

They have chest doors hidden somewhere that will bring you to the end quicker. Download a auto level that has a funny world record and see if you could find a hidden door.

Imagine all the testing it took to make these levels
After a while the Levels got really boring... well at least the artwork on some of them was pretty.
I can apreciate auto levels I built severall of my owne. I guess it has to do with the cartoons like Looney tunes I watched as a kid. Crazy mechanics that actually work are just so humorous to me.

Very few people are able to truly understand the deep bond this person shares with Boos.
(All jokes aside, these are REALLY cool. Managing to not only make awesome pixel art but to make an entertaining auto level around it is awesome.)

Stupid RNG enemies, kinda kills the vibe of an automatic level when the tiniest smidge of those enemies that run off of RNG kills you sometimes, but it's still amazing.

Edit: the more i watch, i should say how did someone get 4-10sec records on these. lol
How are these levels made? Is there a hack or tool based program? Or is it by legit hand and many hours of testing?
Testing and testing
I use a sertian patern. Place a trampoline on it's side and place it above Mario at the start of the course' let mario fall for a bit then pause and see the recording of that' place something like a convieyer belt or music block and see wer that goes. Deoending on how complex and crazy you want the course to be it can take time but with this basic desing I can build an auto course in a few minutes then save and come back and modify it later.
What's with the unrelevated pixel art before you start the level?
1:37 who else thinks that the level is more harder than deadlocked? But I mean the level without the auto...

We forget. We forget what the first game brought us. We become entitled with our "way better sequel" and never take a moment to look back at what began the journey. We don't hesitate to ignore the original for the sake of the newer game. And I find this disgusting.

after a while, i started to get sick of the same person creating automatic levels with the same ghosts blocking everything. At least have some diversity. And more simplicity, with easy-to-follow-mario courses.
