Thanks for the report. As an Argentine, I want to see Franco at the top. It would be the best tribute to Fangio, Gonzalez, Reutemann and so many other Argentines in F1.
I know this is 6 days later but I think he looks a lot like Senna and I think he can be the next big name if properly given the chance. Very impressed with his race
I'd give your comment extra thumbs up if I could. He's another Senna, and he arrives at the same time as another up and comer, Piastri. I hope to be around long enough to see these two go at it.
Kym, have a watch of some of Franco's Spanish F4 races, he is a natural talent, knowing him I can attest to the fact he's a racer through n through. He's worked his ass off every season he has raced just to keep advancing and while sponsors pay thats the same for every one of the kids coming up but only on merit. Once you get to know Franco, you'll see under the skin of his boyish charm inside is a Lion and nothing will deter him from doing all he can to prove himself in F1, Fernando i'm sure will tell you similar :). I'm sure were going to see a whole lot more of him and his success in years to come that we will all enjoy. Nice video, keep up your great work 👍
James Vowles is a very smart man , he knows what he is doing , for Franco to be seating in a Williams car is not a mistake , best wishes to Franco & Williams team !
Los que venimos bancando a Franco en esas carreras a la madrugada, esa tarde lluviosa en el aca, orgullosos de el ahora en la f1, siempre creimos en vos❤🇦🇷
We are super thrilled here in Argentina to once again have an F1 driver earning points on an official F1 race after 40 years (Massacane back in 2001 but he didn't score any points over that season). ♥ Thank you for covering his story ! I've just come across your channel and subscribed ! :)
Thanks Kym for making this video! Its just great to know thouse funny details about the Women of the Paddock in Italy. In Argentina there is much we still dont know about F1. Just as a commnent, it wont be Brasil the first race full of Argentina people. I bet that in Miami there will be a lot of fans since there is a lot of people from our country living there. Best Regards
I think he's great! Loved how smoothly he controled it after dipping into the gravel...shows great skill and cool headedness! I will enjoy watching him race, and Ollie this weekend too....i think K-mag will spend this weekend with his family
He was not born in the city of Buenos Aires. In Argentina there are two districts called Buenos Aires. One is the capital city of Argentina (the city in 1:27). The "other Buenos Aires" is a province (state). In that state Franco was born. More precisely in the city of Pilar (42 km northwest of the city of Buenos Aires).
Good chronicle! I think if Williams does not make a risky decision for next year, Colapinto will go to another team and Williams will lose the best option for marketing, performance and future projection in recent years in F1 ☝🏆🏁
You've asked in a previous video. Franco 'StickDick' Colapinto parents are: Aníbal Colapinto [ITA] y Andrea Trofimczuk [POL]. Did you know that in 1954 F1 had EIGHT Argentinian drivers in F1 🤔
@@fmendezgnu Both parents are argentines. Anibal with spanish and italian roots, Andrea with ucranian and italian roots... Just like 60% of argentines...
Ship to Argentina is not a problem, I buy stuff abroad all the time and nothing get lost anymore (it used to be different), that said, the service is slow.
There’s a drama here with taking passport details required to ship to your country. It contains privacy laws as it stands now and the workaround is ridiculously expensive.
There surely are many from Argentina who already had their tickets, just out of passion for automobilism and Sao Paulo being the closest F1 race to home. What is certain to happen now is that they'll be way louder than if Franco wasn't racing.
@@GuidoAlonso for sure, people come from all around the world for the São Paulo GP but won’t be the sea of Argentinians like Kym said, since there aren’t many options available for those who just want to see Colapinto

Great Analysis, Kim. Here in argentina we are super happy to have Colapinto in f1. The news took us as a gentle surprise, and we are enjoying it enormously. Regards from Buenos Aires.
I correction i would suggest to the video is that you showed a picture of the City of Buenos Aires but Colapinto was born in the Province of Buenos Aires in the city of Pilar, it's kinda like Washington and Washington DC. What makes it even more confusing is that the city of BA shares a border with the province 😂.
I'd like to bring up that I didn't hear sky sports mention Colapinto a signle time during the race broadcast. Absolute shame, and yet another instance of the sky crews abhorrent homerism. If Colapinto were British they wouldn't have gone more than 3 seconds without praising him.
This young driver uses #KenBlock (and former #AUDI partner ) number #43 ... Difting Mode Active ... 🔥 And he also has a similar vibe to Ayrton Senna, What do you think? #KitIllman
#43 is F1 Academy Williams Driver Lia Blocks late fathers number she will probably see it for the first time on the Williams car in person at Singapore when she races there
This may not necessarily be the appropriate place for this comment, however Kim Sky Sports Martin B has come out today with that Riccardo will be replaced in 2025 by Lawson? What’s your call?
1:27 this is the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Franco was born in Pilar, a city from Buenos Aires Province. Only the name is simiar. And, yes... It has no sense at all...

You've asked in a previous video.
Franco 'StickDick' Colapinto parents are:
Aníbal Colapinto [ITA] y Andrea Trofimczuk [POL].
Did you know that in 1954 F1 had EIGHT Argentinian drivers in F1 🤔
True, but only Fangio competed in all (except in Indianapolis) races.
Why "ITA-POL" when both parents are ARGENTINE???
And Franco is Argentine. Do you even know Argentina was made by Europeans? (therefore our last names)
Actually, Anibal Colapinto is argentinean and Andrea Trofimczuk is italian
