Oh how I wish for a little practice amp! ... Unfortunately DHL have lost it! No one knows where it is. It left the depot on Thursday its now Saturday. 17 emails 20 phone calls later they can't find it! Every day they say its on the van. But it never arrives! Such fun ! ✌️❤️🤗

We have moved away from amps altogether now. Good in-ears have made them unnecessary, thankfully.
I just have a 250w TC 2x10 combo for stand in gigs
But back in the day I peaked at a 5000w power amp and two 2x 12 cabinets
What was I thinking???

I would still have my 1x15 plus 2x10 left and 1x15 plus 2x10 right plus the 2 heads if i could actually lift them still. That why I went to the ashdown 600w 1x15 combo plus the laney combo. Then I couldn't lift the ashdown either.
Bloody old age and 20 years of scaffolding has ruined my back and knees.

But when I think of what I used to carry round!!
Peavey CS800 power amp and 2 peavey cabs, 4x10 and a 1x15
Madness!!
Had great results with a Yamaha PA head though
Bowie used one title bass on Blavkstar

Ah yes . Blackstar. The only Bowie album I've bought that I just don't like. I've tried many times. So sad what he was going through at the time.
I also just can't get my head around Clockwork Angels . Even though it's supposed to be amazing and I'm the biggest Rush fan in the world obviously . I just can't get into it. There's some songs on it I think are great but the whole album feels like a barage of information. Information overload! I think they missed a trick.If they had a narrator between each track reading the bits on the album sleeve it would explain what the heck's going on and given a break between each track . Like a modern day Jeff Wayne's war of the worlds. I mean, all the script is on the album and it's supposed to be a concept.
Maybe I just over think stuff? ✌️❤️🤗

@@mindhead2005 I thought of doing my own narration reading Neil's in-between tracks prose.I could throw all the songs in my DAW and do the spoken bits. Unfortunately it would sound like Eastenders with my accent!
