Shamans look weird... before the wolf skin *was* his face, but now they're so distinct because they're more realistic. Its like he has 1.5 faces now, instead of just the one cool-but-silly wolfman face.

Really goes to show how the limitation of the previous engine made them think creatively at 'how can we show what this unit is all about in such low resolution' it forced them to make them more expressive, which the new one kinda lack in certain areas. The Wind Rider change is the worst of them to me

Melee is multiplayer type in Blizzard RTS term. Because you will face against opponent in nearly mirror-map so they use melee to refer the type of mode. Melee doesn't stand for melee-unit or ranged-unit, but here is melee-mode.
Why are the backgrounds for the Icons not consistent? This is why its hard to see. The Black background creates a good contrast compared to the gradient red background.....

The reign of chaos catapult was changed from orcish to the realistic design... (same goes for ballista) it's obviously not shown here since it's not an orcish unit anymore and most like bcuz currently there's no icon for it.
The reforged images lacks so much details.. tattoos on the taurens, the Purple color on the wolf and so much more.. some images are just to much zoomed in and starts to look like any other orc/unit
so, no icons yet for the stormreaver orcs, Sen'jin, Baine, Bovan, Tagar, Morg and Drak'thul? 😮 anyway, things I like : Grunt no longer looks like he's moaning things I don't like : Peons looks like they're high on drugs and Nazgrel looks like he's wearing a pandaren skin
Man whats with this obsession with having a soft glow in the background. Almost all of these would be improved by just putting them on a black background instead of having that red glow mess up their silhouettes. Overall quite good quality with a few seemingly strange choices.

@@HighLanderPonyYT dude Hellscream icon for instance is exactly same as it used to be, just with new graphic. There are few examples where they went for change, not this one. If you do not like it nobody forces you to play Reforged, just play old game. They did amazing job recacthing old feeling and themes in most cases, and they just upgraded stuff that was too outdated, or did not make sense from today lore point of view. Same think as when Tolkien wanted to go back and rewrite Hobbit btw. It is not retconning or whatever, but they are taking in to consideration where that world went since first itteration of its universe and story.
