a wheelbite remedy besides/in addition to riser pads that mike doesn't mention is rubbing a bit of wax on the area of your board where the wheelbite occurs. waxing your wheelbite area makes it so that your wheel just slows down instead of completely stopping when wheelbite happens, and you just sketch out a little instead of getting pitched and taking a swellbow to protect your camera.
Filmer's honestly need more appreciation. nobody films where I am, none of them want to. Filming correctly/smoothly actually takes quite a bit of skill.
My current filming board set up is: ABEC 11 Big Zig Wheels, Independent Trucks, Land Yachtz El Barbaro Old School 30 Inches long 9 inches in width deck, And a Canon PowerShot ELPH 340 HS with Shoulder Stablizer, Lemme know what you think of this setup
the hero 3 is a really good quality camera that is great for filming lines and what not but the downside is being locked down to a fisheye, fisheyes are great for skating but sometimes a long lens is the better shot, and the other downside is that you have to get an external lcd screen, but all in all, great for a beginner
I did that at first too!But when you do it in a pool/bowl it became tricky so i took the wheels from my penny and puted them on my normal skate setup and it became much easyier
i just bought some 55 mm wheels and put them on my board. was using pig 52 before hand but dont really do tricks anymore.. is this a wack look? shit it fun as hell though jusdt cruisin around
I stand by all things SharkWheel-- silent & smooth as well as no chipping or wear i noticed a beautiful blue set in another vid on here Invest! & Research!
I will admit there is a diffrence but not to the point where your gonna effect your speed, the only diffrence between the two types is glass self lubricate but then again glass cant dent, they just break, steel can dent but they cant break (they can but not form skating.) speed is all about the wheels not really the bearings.
If anyone needs a recommendation I bought the Arbor Shakedown 33. I changed the stock wheels to harder black Theese. It is comfy and smooth. It came with risers and wheel wells too.
i just bring a set of filmer wheels to the session so whoever is filming can put em under their board, we dont have one filmer and everyone wants to get a clip...

I loooove this InFocus series! that made me so happy when I saw on my homepage..
Thanks Mike for another awesome video with loads of helpful advice!! This video has re-assured my subscription to RIDE for at least another 2 weeks
do a vid on cheap hd camcorders compatible with fisheye
any camera is compatible with a fish eye but sometimes youll have to modify the camera in some way to put one on
Right now for a filming setup I'm actually using a Santa Cruz homer cruiser lol it's pretty stable and the wheels are so smooth
Your work is dope. I watch your reviews how to's, love erm. Keep killing it. I grew up in Uk and used to love seeing you ripping in sidewalk!
Filmer's honestly need more appreciation. nobody films where I am, none of them want to. Filming correctly/smoothly actually takes quite a bit of skill.
Yes it is. It's a good camera to start out with in terms of BOTH filming and photography. Just put it on a handle and you're good to go (filming).
I really need to get a decent camera so I can get filming again. It's my favorite part of skating.
i just combined some old trucks, old deck, and old longboard wheels and just put in some thick riser pads. works great
why ride channel doesnt produce the series anymore?
would you recomend to get bones filmer wheels instead OJ's keyframe?
im getting an 8.5 deck for filming and a set of oj hot juices is that good my street set up is a 8.25
I use Mike Manzoori's new pro board for superdead, it's like 10 inches wide, works really good
Thank You for this video. Which are the most silent wheels and bearings in your experience?
could you please do the next one on filming long shots and how to get them looking perfect ?
Do you think a longboard would work good for the sort of filming outside the bowl?
My current filming board set up is: ABEC 11 Big Zig Wheels, Independent Trucks, Land Yachtz El Barbaro Old School 30 Inches long 9 inches in width deck, And a Canon PowerShot ELPH 340 HS with Shoulder Stablizer,
