I chose 3a because of the type of compressor it is, it’s an opto, solid state so since I want a transparent sound while recording, it was the best option after doing some research. I was going to get the 2a but I didn’t. Might in the future, but no sure
@@mte.studios I've never heard of the 3a until today im not a fan of the 2a myself am looking for clean vocals like jay z not sure what he uses but it's ultra clean
@@Cizzledaghost There's a lot of gear out in the world and many different prices and the use of it, I don't usually buy what everyone gets at first because of my knowledge behind the piece of gear. There's always better or worst anywhere which makes it hard to choose.
My 2a is connected to my interface for tracking so anytime the vocal hits, the comp is being utilized. Did that answer your question? To make sure I understood what you meant
Yes. So your microphone will get plugged into the pre amp, the pre amp will be plugged into the comp 3a and from there, the comp 3a goes to the interface, and make sure +48 is only selected on the pre and not the interface

Hi brother please can you guide me on how to connect both the Pre Amp and the Comp-3A?
