1lakh plus for a 125 cc motorcycle , definitely not going be a best selling one. Plus nobody needs an 125 these days. Companies are focusing on the 200/ 300 cc above segment.
Why re-upload???Did KTM ask you guys to delete the Heating issue part!? You guys say it's better than most of the 150cc bikes...even Apache fz have more torque and BHP than this... Segment 1st, Segment 1st, Segment 1st .... But .... It is not even in priced in its segment .... It is priced in the segment of 200cc (NS200, Apache 200) and 250cc (FZ25) bikes, its like selling a Baleno at the price of an Audi with Traction Control and Cruise Control features
Plz don’t waste time on such things KTM if someone could get a duke 125 underpowered practically compared to 200 @ 1.2 lakh what’s wrong in slightly taking that extra dose of 1.5lakh
That WP front forks cost 22k, rear shock cost 4k, Underbelly exhaust cost 10k, Front disc -2k ,rear disc 1500, body panels 10k, Fuel pump 4k,headlight-1800, Speedo -7k,ECU-10k , wiring harness -10k, Led turn indicators 4- 1800, Trellis Frame- 12k,other electronics attachments parts 10k..ABS modulator 20k (dual channel) So technically it costs 126100/- to build the bike (Duke200 ABS) part by part excluding engine!😂 engine should cost 30k to build. 156100/- (exshowroom with dualchannel ABS) the initial cost of bike when launched in 2011-12 waz 128000/- which was a steal & was justified. but now its just too overpriced like a Apple product thing.
It is affordable and great VFM guys....it puts out a humongous torque output of 12nm for just 1.18 lakhs... Woooww.. 😲. Sad thing is, PD supporting this shit... 😞

Its a move by KTM / Bajaj to sell out more and more parts of the old duke 390 ( which dint sell well ) and the duke 200 parts . And they even forgot to mention the engine issue which will cost a bomb to fix when it starts showing up . As a big channel PD cant criticize a brand like KTM they will have to sound mostly positive and water down the negative aspect .
I don’t think it’s cool for Powerdrift to re-upload a video after drastically reducing honest criticism and worries that they had in the original one merely to please the manufacturer. And while it’s obvious most automobile reviewers might do that to some extent - to re-upload a video after many people have already witnessed the original version is kinda dishonourable... perhaps the 1st PD video to get a dislike from me...
Wow! what a disappointment. I ride a suzuki shogun and it came with a 14hp, 11.4 Nm of torque in 1993!!! Ofcourse its a 2 stroke but hey..25 yrs down the line with modern technology such as fuel injection, abs, usd forks and trellis frame...it still cannot beat my shogun in a drag race!!!

This is not affordable price , change your TH-cam tag. In India we will get better bike for this price 1.2 lakh to 1.5 lakh as per Bangalore on road price. You sold out to KTM marketing or broker. Better compare Suzuki access 125 vs this bike . You will comes to know which one is better. For that price tag.

I have been seeing a lot of comments that its expensive but wait till may 2019 all the other bikes are gonna be expensive due to ABS integration, and come on guys see the features of the bike a really good chaises, fully digital meter, ABS, fuel injection the best thing is liquid cooled engine. I think the price is too good, its reasonable.

Kiran R15 v3 will give u more performence but it may not have Usd fork But it has VVA , LED head lamps , all new design and soon it will getting ABS before april 2019. i think for only USD fork intelligents wont choose duke 125 over R15 v3

Good bike. High quality all around and with the addition of high end items like WP's, liquid cooling and the frame it was sure to push the price up. Yes it will sell less than other dukes in India but with a 50+ mileage and great looks, it will satisfy those who understand what they are going for.
FZ250 makes better definition of VFM. It is priced almost same. Has a better engine. Has forgiving power, not too powerful. Has a torque-full engine and looks good for the price too. The only set back there is the ABS. 6th gear can be compromised and so is the case with liquid cooling, yamaha's don't heat that much anyway. But thats a personal opinion.
The motorcycle scene in India is experiencing a great shift. People will talk about these days ages from now. Reminds me of the time when the RXs, Shoguns etc came into the market.
To be very honest, i am anxiously waiting for the Duke 790 and ktm gives us this.. The smallest Duke in India. Totally bummed. But after watching the video I see that ktm is making a strong and a bold move... Hat's off Powerdrift. Your content prowess changed my mind once again. I'll be sure to wish you a happy birthday in April. But there's another thing that makes me excited about April 2019, and it isn't the Govt's ABS mandate. The Ford Figo facelift is rumored to be launched in April as well. So, think we can get a Blockbuster for that little pocket rocket?
Less than a lac (say 90k) would have somewhat justified the price. This is not at all a value for money. Or a 150cc motor would have justified 1.18lac. Still an overpriced bike imo, no matter what it brings.
KTM 125 is a gourmet Moto among Motos and most Indians expect an unlimited meal, entire plate filled with greasy cuisine. I like a gourmet experience for it's receipe, method and the presentation. It's not about what you are getting and how much you are getting it for, it is what you are going to experience with the creation of a master chef. Hero Impulse; In many sense was just short of a gourmet Moto, it still remains one of the near Gourmet experience Shorty Indians were offered sadly, only full meals sell a lot here huge, short for the tiny legs and big on the ego with loud obnoxious tweaked exhausts with labels such Royal, King, Badshah, Shehansha such cheeky cheesy names 😄

FZ250 makes better definition of VFM. It is priced almost same. Has a better engine. Has forgiving power, not too powerful. Has a torque-full engine and looks good for the price too. The only set back there is the ABS. 6th gear can be compromised and so is the case with liquid cooling, yamaha's don't heat that much anyway. But thats a personal opinion.

It is not an ordinary 125 cc bike . It's power and torque figures r more than fz and for bajaj people saftey comes later and profit first
Spending more than 1 lakh only for 125 cc engine and no comfort at all....not justified

Less than a lac (say 90k) would have somewhat justified the price. This is not at all a value for money.
Or a 150cc motor would have justified 1.18lac.
Still an overpriced bike imo, no matter what it brings.
