- We made it to Tucson and immediately got to work. I’m getting the axles installed in the Bully and prepping the car for the race, What’s really great is we start to learn how this hot rod work! So sit back and hold on tight !! We all have some rippen to do ! Let’s Gooo!!

I feel like it might be time to take a serious look at the ergonomics of Bully's interior. Seems like they cause a lot of issues.

When you get it worked out, it's gonna be amazing though. Will only go faster with some bodywork on the front.
Question though, could certain switches be set up in such a way that they cannot be triggered while the car is in motion, excluding perhaps a killswitch placed somewhere else? Perhaps by checking wheel speed sensors or something?
Two words: overhead switches. :)
PFI Speed y'all might want to try rising the rear a bit for some more bite. I've never drivin a pro car but I've found grip on fwd cars in the past by playing with the rear settings
If you aren't, set up the interior with all the suit, gloves and helmet on so you can verify that you can see and reach everything with ease while fully geared up. The bully looks like a handful, you don't need to be searching for stuff.

The Bully is so unique. No matter what it's fun as hell to watch. From here I think stiffening the front chassis, tuning the hinge suspension, turning up the power a bit, 8s are in sight! Love it guys keep going.

Just a quick one on them shaft joint boots, over here in the uk, when we use that kind of joint the boot has a metal flange with holes in it that bolts up with the joint, saves the bolts getting all greasy and makes them easier to work On too, could be worth looking in to!

Brent, it looks like Bully liked that short shift into high gear when you ran the 9.400. The other runs when you kept it in first caused the wheel shake and made the front bounce. Whatever torque is at that point seems the perfect point for wheelspeed vs power management. 👍

Needs to have some compression added on the shocks. They are really soft IMO
definitly needs heavier spring rates, rebound damping does not seem like a problem, it sits nice but it bottoms out to fast with those soft springs in there.
@@willpayforbaconbacon9569 springs are for ride height and minimal adjustment. Shock valving is where the dampening is at. For this car I would up the compression valve stack with a progressive dampening. Make it so the hard hit holds strong but also the lil dips to be absorbed and not bounce. It would make it stick to the track like glue and transfer energy correctly. Again all my opinion
@@carbonshocks Yup, more LOW speed compression, this "car" really needs some decent multi way adjustable Motorsport dampers, maybe anti squat geometry to keep all the weight on the front end on launch?

Try locking the suspension and using the rear springs and shocks for adjustment

They definitely didn’t have an engineer help them lol that thing bounces the tires it’s so front heavy and imbalanced . Handles like shit because it hops the whole way down even on burnouts lol

Little secret, zip tie your steering wheel button cord thru the holes on your wheel. That way when you remove it the tension isn't on the soldered part of button it's on the zip tie and the cord.
