Hi Shufflers. Dave here, from The Smoke. I've heard of Beardfish, largely through the Rikard Sjoblom Big Big Train link, so thanks for introducing me to their music. Yes, a nice little number (!), and I shall be delving further.
Love Beardfish I understand a new album is in the works. Great song to introduce Jenna to. Love the show . You two keep up the good work. Jenna really seems to be a good sport for listening to the music she has to listen to.🔥🔥🔥🎶🎼🎹🎵❤️
Never heard of them. First thing that came to mind was King Crimson, Pictures of a City, though parts of it also sounded a little like A Farewell to Kings by RUSH : )
I was not aware of this band. This is brilliant. I've been listening a lot to Whoopie Cat this past year; an Australian prog band, who has a similar-ish retro vibe, although more to the blues rock side of things. Another unrelated recommendation, if you are not familiar: Now in Colour; an Australian prog trio (what's up with those Australians and good prog?). They've only made one album so far, but it's absolutely brilliant. I think you might enjoy it.
