Texas student here. I go back to this video all the time to relive this night. At this point, no one knew this was two bad teams playing each other. The hype here was insane... INSANE, I tell you. I will live in this moment until we are good again. I've been to SO many college football games, but this is by far the greatest football experience I've ever had in my life. Hopefully we will return to here with Herman...

As a Utah fan, this was one of the best college football games I have ever seen. It really came down to the nitty gritty between these two teams. Simply fantastic. This is what college football is all about.
Even though both teams didn't meet expectations, this was, in my opinion, the BEST game played this season!

CBO183 They're poised this year. that was all freshman and sophomores doing the lifting. now they have experience and should be way better. secondary stood up and they end last year and stagnant offense play calling blew games after the turnaround on D. Mark my words. Texas will be in the CFP talks this year.
Kevin Jansen the freshmen and sophomores doing all the lifting make me wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of Coach Strong. They pulled the trigger way too early. I'm crazy excited that we have Herman now but damn I really feel for Charlie. Another 2-3 years and he definitely could've had a playoff team
LiVexReFlex This year they could be a playoff team. Certainly by next year if all development stays the course. Charlie told them it wluldnt happen overnight. Without the KU loss we wouldn't be having this talk right now though.

one year ago tonight this game was played figured I'd revisit this classic
I remember watching this game. Edge of my seat holding my breath you were just lost in the moment. As a Texas fan I thought for sure it was over when they were going for the field goal but when notre dame blocked it I was just shocked. When the final play happen me and my family went crazy. It may have not been a good season that year but this game stood out
I thought it was an extra point blocked run back for 2 point conversation not field goal but only going by memory not this video

one heck of a game. thanks for the highlights, this was more extensive than any other video I have yet to see on the game. If there was one thing that could make it better, it would be to add scoreboards if at all possible. but either way, just glad to see this nice constant stream of content coming from this channel. I still get chills Everytime I watch this video. I never really watched football but I got invested in my high schools football team so my mom thought it would be cool to go to this game. It was my first college football game and it was Awesome! The crowd was so loud during overtime that I lost my hearing for a few seconds and when we won everyone was hugging each other and jumping up and down. Best first game for me.
+Harris highlights this is great man I am a huge Texas fan and this is by far my favorite highlights video of a UT game. Keep up the good work!!

I remember just turning on the game while doing hw until It got really good I stopped doing my hw. One of the best football games I’ve ever seen despite the rest of the season that came afterward
Even though both teams ended up being terrible this was one of the craziest,exciting, great college football games ever. I was there and by the end had a pounding headache and a hoarse voice from yelling. People who say DKR isn’t loud obviously haven’t been to a game there.

The whole “Texas is back” is a phrase that brings a curse to our beloved team. Every time we win a game against a really good team, or whenever we have a great or decent season then we automatically get worse the next season or tank the rest of the season. But with all due respect Hook Em Horns.

Losing Charlie was bittersweet. The dude had an excellent class coming up. But they released him too early imo. Hopefully Herman will use Strongs to their full potential and turn us back into the powerhouse we used to be
