Nintendo has multiple bosses like that. Andross in all 3 appearances, Tiki Tong here, and bosses in Wind Waker, Super Mario 64, Kirby Super Star and probably more I can't think of atm.
This is the best lava world in video game history
so... they needed bananas to make the final boss' hands?... I don't get it.At least Donkey Kong was able to use his gumballs to unlock Fruit Ninja
That boss is a cross between Andross from Star Fox/Lylat Wars, and Master Hand from Smash Bros.
i always found the cutscene before the last boss to be really weird, and i think DK and Diddy thought the same from the looks on there faces,
Or if you're daring, the "Donkey Punch". LMAO.
