- A quick update on what is happening on Jomtien Pattaya Beach in 2024. Jomtien is close to Pattaya and is an ideal area to live. The beach has been recently expanded and is very popular with expats and Thai people.
Jomtien Pattaya Beach is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 155 km from Bangkok in the Chonburi Province of Thailand.

It certainly can be a bit of a sqeeze down around 19 where the road narrows, almost got into a scooterjam when I was there recently.

Thanks, Robert. I think it's just the section of road that is narrow. Na Jomtien already had new pavements so I don't think they will touch that. 🤔
Sawadee Krap Heath.... I really like your vidéos, I just like the way you are filming with your drone. The views of the beach are fantastic. I'm looking forward to arrive today in Pattaya. I couldn't find a reasonable flat to rent in Jomtien (any recommandation?)so I'll stay at the begining on Central Pattaya. Wishing you the best to the two of you!

I'm in Pattaya / Jomtien at the moment.
Stayed in Jomtien over 10 times & this trip encountered the new one way road system on beach road!!!
Why change something that worked ...I have no idea how to catch a B/Bus back to Pattaya had to use a Grab.
Hopefully they change it back?

Hi Dale. You can pick up the bus from along Second Road that will take you into Pattaya. They are doing roadworks and that is why the one way system is in place. Coming back from Pattaya to Jomtien remains the same. After Soi Chaiyapruek (towards Na Jomtien) it is still two way traffic.
Heath I will be in Jomtien in a month's time. for just over 2 weeks. I enjoy a beer but there's times you just want to have a stubble or two in your condo with the aircon going missus the noise of a bar. Is there anywhere i can buy a carton of 24 stubbles of Singa in Jomtien.?

Try 7-11 it’s normally cool.
Not really malls. There's a few in Pattaya. I've made videos in a few of them. 😎
Why can't the city pay rent to Land Owners of EMPTY Lots on Jomtien Beach south -- to use for parking.
It would be a hell of a lot cheaper than widening the road , removing and replacing footpaths, relocating all those trees, plus of course the building of a 6 foot wide road extension to accommodate parking ... YIKES Wasteful
