Eibos storage vacuum bags with USB electric vacuum pump (EURUS)

Eibos storage vacuum bags are designed especially for filament storage with valve in the middle and double sealing line. The EURUS USB vacuum pump can be screwed on the valve and powered from mobile charger or power bank and it can suck the air from the bag in less than a minute. I could successfully use this pump with my Banggood bags too. Valve cover, together with double sealing line, will reduce chance of air leaking to minimum.

@@TheWejrijo I'm more talking about the correctly sized reusable vacuum bags, obviously there are alternate ways to vacuum out the bags to avoid buying the sold-seperately pump.

Correct. And I use this bags 1 after 2-3 days. For me it is faster to use this small pump, than to take out the vacuum cleaner from the garage, just to prepare 1 bag.

nice video but the only problem with the bags i see is the suction port sticks out and makes stacking filament a little akward

Partly it goes into hole from the other side (on second spool)

can you do a video on which bag keeps the moisture levels down the best? Vacuum is not an indicator of moisture....I learned this the hard way.

How have these bags held up for you? The bags I use are like your bang good one you showed in this video with the little flat circle valve. They work great the first, second and maybe a third time , but after that, they start leaking. I'm looking for a bag that holds up better to repeated opening, closing and re-vacuuming

I've recently ordered (but not yet received) bags and a pump from Eibos. I had a couple of questions and found their response time to be quite good. Are there any vacuum bags that, with spool inside, will fit inside original cardboard box? Ziplocks might be able to bend around the spool, but there's a lot of bag to be stuffed in...

I bought this pump and bag kit plus 10 extra bags based on this video and so far 6 out of 20 bags will not hold a seal over night. I doubt i am doing anything wrong since you just sucking air out of a bag, but i would look at other options

Sorry about that. I bought additional 10 bags, they works great. Tricky is to seal the bags correctly with that white plastic.

Ditto....Got 10 bags when I got the Cyclops, but out of the 10, only 3 of them will hold seal for more than 2-3 hours....Very disappointing....

This is what I’m concerned about. I bought a batch of bags from AliExpress and none of them held air. I was encouraged seeing this review, but now discouraged hearing about problems.
I wonder, can anything be done to improve reliability, such as using silicone o-ring grease on the valve flap?

@@DEtchells From the tests I did, it's not the Valve that's the problem...I think its the corner seals on the bags themselves....I took 2 bags, used the pump on them to vacuum out all the air, then poured some water over the valves so the entire valve was submerged...The water never entered the bag, but within 2 hours, the bags had started to fill with air....I think the bags are just poorly made, and the edges aren't sealed properly...

BE AWARE - These Eibos bags have a very high failure rate. The valves leak like crazy. If not on first use, then on second or third use. The company ignores complaints and requests for replacements. They just go in the trash. The USB electric pump works fine. It's the valves in the bags that fail. Buyer beware...
