Thank you so much for filming this! I’m going through it right now and it answered a lot of the questions I had while waiting for the appointments. Your story is also a real inspiration to me, wish you and your beautiful family all the best 🌺
I’m a bit confused because one of the practitioners said that there is no cure for endometriosis “and it’s something you have to just manage”..My understanding is that a labroscopy and hysteroscopy are treatments for endo. Is that your understanding as well? Super confused by this information.
A laparoscopy & hysteroscopy are not treatments/cures for endometriosis. They can help to diagnose endo, and endo can be removed during these procedures. However, the endo will always grow back, and removing endo will help maintain it but it is not a cure, you wouldn’t be “endo free” forever following this. Hope that helps?
My fertility specialist diagnosed my endo from my HSG since my polyps and fluid were visible. They told me that after the surgery I’d know what stage of endo I had, but didn’t understand that the polyps would just grow right back? That’s the confusing piece to me. So once you have polyps, you’ll always have polyps?
For anyone going through this journey, I hope you find this video interesting and helpful! Xxx

@@readysetmindful I’m in the mindset that endo and polyps are two different things, so maybe you need to ask your consultant about this?
