@@thatguyjezza I don't think it will be - the plane looks like it was based off an Air France 777-300ER cabin configuration. I also don't think they have much in the way of aircraft customization for cabin config.
Really looking forward to this... I have thousands of hours logged in the various PMDG 737's over the past 15 or so years... Started in FS9, then FSX/P3D now MSFS.
I think the reason you didn't get the glide is because you have to intercept the localiser first. I think it is an option in the settings. The AP won't let you intercept the glide before the LOC.
The T7 requires LOC capture first then APP. Your profile was too high to capture from above hence no G/S. Arming the LOC before the turn onto final would have intercepted it perfectly and then engage the APP. Great video can’t wait to fly this thing
Interestingly enough, this is what the tutorial of the P3D version of the 737NGX stated, and yet several real world 737 pilots say that capturing LOC before APP is not required.
You can "default" the settings that aren't options in the menu system by saving a state. So basically you will turn the knob and then save the state of the plane as it is cold dark.
Yeah I thought that too. And the baro/min dials look a bit strange too. The font on the CDU looks off as well. Or the buttons look a bit flat or something.
Great video Squirrel! When you struggled to capture the ILS there’s a couple of reasons. Firstly you should have armed VOR LOC as you were on the base turning final as the LNAV route took you through the localiser and took too long to get you back into it. Secondly because that took so long, you reached the set 2500 MCP altitude before you captured the glide so it stopped descending at that stage as it’ll never capture the glide before the localiser
Very excited, but cant stop thikning about the fact that I will now buy the 777 for the 3rd time, already owning it in FSX and P3D. Doesnt matter though, it looks incredible.
Regarding the not capturing the ILS. I would recommend not following the rnav onto the ILS, use heading and VS to give you better speed control, take the aircraft further down wind to give yourself 15-20 mile final. Don’t try to go down and slow down at the same time, slow down in level flight until you get more comfortable, aim to be flap 5 and flap 5 speed and 5000 feet by 15D
4:37 world traveller is economy, that’s probs just a screen they display on all of them for simplicity, I’m guessing you might’ve flown world traveller, club world is business

That sound pack is even worse than their 737. It's very sad because the plane has been made so nicely but the sounds just destroy the immersion completely.
@@noah9130 Exactly - I knew something was up when they didnt showcase the sounds in any of the pre-release promo videos etc. I am on the fence whether to buy it now, hopefully they will release a fix at a later date. Hi Squirrel been following your videos and liking them. How can i use the drone camera to get from one are to the next in the external view? Also, how can i setup external and cockpit views in msfs 2020
I didn't like the engine sound. It's like they took it from Aerofly flight simulator. It seems like an unnecessary effect was added, especially during takeoff. P3d had a clearer engine sound.
Its funny because Aerofly's 777 sounds light years better than this product. Even their P3D version of the 777 has better sounds! Luckily I know that somebody out there is making a soundpack for the 777 who you may know for P3D and FSX
You were making things difficult for yourself! In the FMS pre-flight, load the route, load the departure, load the arrival and THEN activate/execute.The route is then fully loaded. On short routes like MAN-LHR saving yourself time and work is key. It is also useful to load the winds before departure. The ECL (Electronic Checklist) is there to help you - USE IT! It will make sure that everything is done and in the correct sequence. IIRC, on engine start it is usual procedure to move the fuel master to ON as soon as N1 rotation is registered and let the autostart system do the rest. The SANBA (Sandbach, Cheshire) departure turn is for noise abatement AND to avoid the Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. The arrival is a BovingDon, not a BovingTon! At LHR, ATC uses positive speed control which is usually 210/220kt downwind, 180kt on base and 160kt to 4nm on finals. On a lightweight 777 this will DEFINITELY require speedbrake. On aircraft of that size you have to be "ahead" of the aircraft and always getting ready for the next phase of the approach. You must intercept the localiser BEFORE the glideslope or the G/S will not arm. On large aircraft oversteer for parking is required and requires a delicate control of speed (~5kt in the turn which may require thrust - but not too much on the ramp!) Final parking should be 2-3kt to avoid the dreaded "TOO FAR"! Taxi-in with one engine shut down helps - but make sure the running engine is on the OUTSIDE of the final parking turn! Unfortunately, in the real world, if you get a stand change to a stand with a turn in which goes the other way you can be stuffed! I flew this aircraft for real for 6 years and it was my 2nd favourite aircraft - after my beloved B757. It was a bit puzzling why the aircraft was parked on the A320 mark rather than the 777 one at MAN!
ew the SOUNDS!! I can here the GE-90 juice somewhere under there, but there's like this hornet's nest "hhummmmmm" sound on top of it. P3D sounds were SHOCKINGLY better. This is bad.
