I looked high and low for Bottles' molehill in this level when I was a kid. No really, I searched for days. Words cannot describe how mad I was when I found it. Right under my nose...
This is my fave level in the whole game!! I absolutely loved the transformation in this one too!! Who doesn't like being a 'lil croc? Ahh this makes me wanna play it now... Right let's set up the good old N64!
...When I was little, I would play this game all the time on the N64. I play it, delete my file, play it again, delete my file, and play it again. Yes, I am CRAZY about this game. Banjo-Kazooie, always and forever.
I like it starting at 0:31, it gets so upbeat LOL I love how much effort Rare put into BK for the music (same with BT), and how the animals are used as part of the song Oh childhood fun, where have you gone? ^^
I always remember the boots that kazooie would put on and I could then run across the water ( and over the pihrannas). Those were the days! I also loved the hut thing with the mini bosses!
Ahh... sweet memories. When I was a kid, my parents got a little prize in the lottery. It was about 1000 dutch guldens. And they bought us a N64 with Diddy Kong racing from the prize money. But my mother wanted a game for her own, so she bought herself Banjo-Kazooie. I once asked: Mom, can I try Banjo-Kazooie? I bet she wished she never said yes. I passed her furthest point. She managed to get to Freezeezy Peak, but I got to Mad Monster Mansion and beyond. I even broke her highest note score.
I love how some of the music in Banjo-Kazooie sounds like deep, rumbling farts. You have to be MAJORLY skilled to make chunky fart-like riffs sound musical. Kudos, Grant. Kudos.
I just love the fact that , just as mine, a N64 just never breaks/dies whatever, and if something happens, just a quick blow on the cartridge and ur game is fixed :D
i consantly go back and just mess around in both BK and BT areas... but bubblegloop swamp i never seem to get back to; rarely. still a die hard fan though. forever
On another note, I managed to find my way here for the alligator transformation more often than any other transformation in the game. I loved being an alligator...
You know, maybe we shouldn't think about what we COULD have had.. but enjoy the games that Rare brought us! I never played this game in my childhood unfortunately D: I do have it on Xbox though. I'm about to play Click Clock Woods!!
That's pretty much me with recent play throughs lol, I always try to make sure that if I lose, I put myself close enough to the exit because I know one hit from that guy is just about the same thing as falling off the highest point of the tree in Click Clock Wood you lose almost the same amount of damage.
my favorite thing about this level was playing as a crocodile and facing mr vile in an eating game, i remember i would eat anything cause i was like 5, i would sometimes win, now i play it again im like o ya i remember him
They're also trying to get more of the old team back together. They have a Twitter page set-up, and they keep mentioning that they may do a kickstarter. The Twitter name is Mingy Jongo.

Hahahahhaha remind us where was it?
@@michaelflores9220 right behind You/The camera when You enter The level
I found it right away
One of the catchiest themes in the whole game.
I can't listen to music from this game without a huge smiling spreading across my face.
1:36 to 2:05 is the best part.
It's amazing and it even has its own little 'breakdown' part. Love it.
Huh. This is actually really well-composed.
Mr Vile's challenge was one of the hardest things in the game, even with the running shoes
Agreed. I would typically have everything else on this level completed in 20 minutes or less and then it would take forever to beat Mr. Vile.
I always saved him for last even after unlocking the last level 😢 he so hard for no reasonnn
I thought I'd forgotten the music after ten years, but I guess not, I'm sitting here humming it
the scale at 0:57 gives me goosebumps
The September of Banjo-Kazooie.
Jayden Kendig yep September
this is such a jam, happy new year
ChilledOut! Love the Nature Sounds. : D
The first *truely* hard level (back when you were a kid, played the game for the first time and didn't have a ton of experience with 3D platformers) !
Na, the first hard level was Clanker's Cavern.
It's really nice to see I'm not the only one with really happy memories listening to this music :') BK's been my childhood's favorite game!!!
I love Banjo-Kazooie music, it's so lighthearted and fun!
nostalgia :,)
That part that starts at 1:36 is the greatest thing ever.
The third World of Yooka-Laylee, Moodymaze Marsh, is like a weird assimilation of both this level and Mad Monster Mansion.
This is my fave level in the whole game!! I absolutely loved the transformation in this one too!! Who doesn't like being a 'lil croc? Ahh this makes me wanna play it now... Right let's set up the good old N64!
this is my favorite music of the whole game i listen to it everyday!
I have been thinking of this exact track for the last 2 years and finally I found it!
OMG. This brings back so many memories!
:O I LOVE this song.
...When I was little, I would play this game all the time on the N64. I play it, delete my file, play it again, delete my file, and play it again. Yes, I am CRAZY about this game. Banjo-Kazooie, always and forever.
Good for you =D

AH BubbleGloop Swamp, you were on of the levels that made my camera view my worst enemy.
@UrSkulled Best come back ever, well played sir.
@Arc13 funniest post I've seen all day haha awesome
i loved that part of this level, was so fun!
People thought Rusty Bucket bay was hard? This level was the devil. And anything in it! SCREW your damn Rubber Boots, Bottles!
Florida theme
I'm going to play this game again, I love it! Can't wait for Banjo Threeie
Love it! :D
treasure of mankind
I like it starting at 0:31, it gets so upbeat LOL
I love how much effort Rare put into BK for the music (same with BT), and how the animals are used as part of the song
Oh childhood fun, where have you gone? ^^
always happy to help someone laugh :)
Everyone says that they miss their Nintendo 64 games and stuff, but am I the only one who still has it fully functioning? I even have this game still.
I always remember the boots that kazooie would put on and I could then run across the water ( and over the pihrannas). Those were the days! I also loved the hut thing with the mini bosses!
love how the swamp noises fit with the tune.
my favorite level :) i love this game...

It is so satisfying when you beat all his minigames the second time and you actually get to take a bite out of him.
Gotta LOVE this track XD Seriously,i had a bad week and i feel better now^^
This board was really fun!
MY FAVOURITE!!!
... That is the single best idea I have ever heard in my life.
I bought my N64 in the middle of june in 1997 and it still works! :D
What a freakin good time I had playing that game!
I love how some of the music in Banjo-Kazooie sounds like deep, rumbling farts.
You have to be MAJORLY skilled to make chunky fart-like riffs sound musical. Kudos, Grant. Kudos.
Mumbo and Tootie carried this track
kooomeeen: a quick blow on anything will make any day better
i soo miss playing this game.....
I just love the fact that , just as mine, a N64 just never breaks/dies whatever, and if something happens, just a quick blow on the cartridge and ur game is fixed :D
I love this game
3 People Lost Mr. Vile's Game and died with One Note missing.
really fits the forest that I live in. Dark, murkey, wet, fun :)
Use to love this song.
very catchy tune! it's in my ssb4 playlist!
Well said, my friend.
Thanks.
Probably the most under-rated level in the game.
so happy
such beutiful soundtrack this game has! ;D
i consantly go back and just mess around in both BK and BT areas... but bubblegloop swamp i never seem to get back to; rarely. still a die hard fan though. forever
gotta love the musical frogs
sucha good song
I like how that random frog goes with the rhythm of the music XD
This was a blast to play, but pretty difficult without Gamefaqs and TH-cam back in the day.
OMG Banjo Kazooie/Tooie had the best funneset game music ever^^
You can't be sad when playing this game (playing it is how I get happy lol^^)
On another note, I managed to find my way here for the alligator transformation more often than any other transformation in the game. I loved being an alligator...
god so many memories
You know, maybe we shouldn't think about what we COULD have had.. but enjoy the games that Rare brought us!
I never played this game in my childhood unfortunately D: I do have it on Xbox though.
I'm about to play Click Clock Woods!!
this is my fav too
Rare, gone but never forgotten. Hey, who knows, depending on what Retro Studios does next, they could become the next Rare.
Ah my favorite level :D
Cool.
Yep!
lots of awsome memorys on this level ! being a croc for one lol the maze the giant turtle tht took me two days to figure out wth to do lol
i like that idea
This game has the most wacky, yet surreal soundtrack.
Probably the 'toughest' levels for me as a kid;
I was so scared of falling off those skinny pathways.. xD
This level had a lot of fun things to do
You wouldn't expect a swamp level to be as fun as it actually is.
I love how the frogs were used as part of the soundtrack xD
I like the beginning with the frogs!
I always loved being the litte crocodile on this stage :)
That's pretty much me with recent play throughs lol, I always try to make sure that if I lose, I put myself close enough to the exit because I know one hit from that guy is just about the same thing as falling off the highest point of the tree in Click Clock Wood you lose almost the same amount of damage.
I always LOLed so hard listening to the frogs in this level XD
God, you're right !
Even better.
@EoceneRoxton I live near the Florida Everglades, you can hear this song echoing in the distance.
hell yeah man! got that right
Got it, it was Oh! You Beautiful Doll by Bob Wills I think. Just found it here.
Man what happened to Rare.
Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie, Rare made my favorite games and I wish they did more.
Looooool
that explains everything ;=)
my favorite thing about this level was playing as a crocodile and facing mr vile in an eating game, i remember i would eat anything cause i was like 5, i would sometimes win, now i play it again im like o ya i remember him
They're also trying to get more of the old team back together. They have a Twitter page set-up, and they keep mentioning that they may do a kickstarter. The Twitter name is Mingy Jongo.
i love that musical bridge in 0:57 sounds crazy, Grant Kirkhope definitely knows about music!!!!
I still have my Nintendo 64, along with a Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis.
I LOVED BEING THE CROCODILE, he was my favorite but i hated facing the red croc and losing cuz i got scared when he would attack haha
haha, yeah the first times I played the game I fell into the swamp alot! xD
@urskulled dude THANKYOU i thought i was the only little kid mentaly defeated by that circus of sea monkys.
