I just got through using my own Deleter Black 4(one long marathon inking session) and immediately spotted in the video the exact issues I had: On all of my tools it beads up and stops flowing pretty easily. I believe it might be intended primarily to be diluted for washes, and this would also explain the behavior around alcohol markers. I've seen a number of pigmented inks that are formulated to be moved once by a wash and then go permanent after; letting them dry reduces the amount of movement but they still move, even 48 hours later. *After* the wash, they're locked in.
Really? Dude, thank you so much for sharing this! You're a wealth of information, I saw the other comment you left on another video of mine and wanted to thank you!
Weirdly, despite advertising decent alcohol marker resistance, 4 and 6 are the only deleter inks I've seen that don't really perform well with alcohol markers. I understand why 4 is their most popular, but I personally prefer 3 cause it dries fast and works with watercolor. Supposedly 2 works best with alcohol, although, I haven't used it.
Interesting! Thank you for sharing your opinions, I plan on making a video on their white ink before the end of next year but I will have to add number 3 to my list of inks to test and try it with some watercolor and gouache!
Bro tysm, you saved my life since I want to start using a g-pen with and I didn't know if alcohol markers could move the ink and damage the drawing, but then, For alcohol markers, do you recommend Black Ink 2? Or what other?
I'm glad I could help! If you're planning on using alcohol markers, I recommend Zig cartoonist sumi ink. It's my favorite alcohol proof ink. I have a video where I reviewed it, and I also used it in a few projects recently!
@@battlebrawlerproduction Oh, thank you very much for responding! And by the way, do you know what other ink I could use but specifically for painting with wooden colored pencils? Thank you

You should do Deleter Black 3, that’s the one I’ve heard everyone likes. I have the white.
Good to know! Deleter black 3 is on my list of inks to try!
