    So, I've been thinking on expanding this series, and maybe doing a video on each individual ink, and really put each one through it's paces. Is there anything in particular you guys would like to try with them?

      I know you asked 5 months ago, but I would be interested in seeing lightfastness tests and if they affect the flow of watercolors (some inks cause haloing because they either repel the water or the pigment.)

    Wow babe, this certainly your niche. You should continue to do things like this, I bet the art community appreciates these kinds of videos.

      I definitely wanna do more videos like this, it's just a matter of saving up enough money to get the stuff, lol.

      Same, lol. I'm always tempted to get more and then I'm like, "Karon! Use what you already have first!" Lol

    Higgins Eternal is technically fountain pen ink, or can be used in them. They do offer a waterproof ink made with carbon such as their "Black India" and "Black Magic" brands.

      What are the names of the Inks?

      @@JudiChristopher The ones I cited are Higgins branded inks.

      I've also used Dr. Ph. Martin's Black Star and Speedball, though I don't tend to like shellac-based inks.

    If you go back and do an erasing test or if you do end up making Part II, it might be fun to also do a test of how the ink goes on _over_ the coloured pencils or other media. TFS!

    • @KayBeast
      @KayBeast  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I could probably do something like that. Besides erasing and color pencil, what other sorts of media did you have in mind? Or anyone else who comes across thia comment?

  • @Richard-dh8ny

    Great comparison! Do you have any suggestions for a flexible, waterproof ink that might hold-up in the sun (ie. UV resistant to fading)? I want to bring some black color back to a small patio table cover that's faded. :)

    Is the chinese one for Tattoos or are these just for pens ?

    • @KayBeast
      @KayBeast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just pens. None of the ink in this video is safe to put in your body. Using anything other than regulated, sterile tools designed for tattooing can be very dangerous. Safety first ♥
