Absolutely a game changer, out of all support servants in the ENTIRE game, she is worth it
She is definitely one of the casters of all time
combine her with merlin and emiya archer (who can switch his NP type between buster and arts) and every saber will be in trouble.
Got 300+ saint quartz
And still didn't have her,

I've planned for an 80$ quartz pack every paycheck til castoria, so when she hits I'll have all the anniversary quartz, all the quartz til the anniversary, and then all those quartz from the packs, the power of pre-planning and budgeting my fellow Masters, and I hope you all get her in a single roll and you have a great day 😀
I see we had the same idea, did the same for Kama a while back and I got her NP2 with 900 quartz, let's see If It'll payback this time too.
the advantage of being on an NA server and being able to see what will be coming out based on JP servers. as soon as i heard about castoria's release on JP servers, i started saving up and now i got about 6620 quartz. if i don't get enough to get MAX NP gauge then i don't know what will. i'm also hoping they bring out the pity system early cause i get the feeling i'm gonna need it after this.

I definitely will roll for Castoria after hearing your review! It’s has been a while since you have done Servant reviews. I thought you quit doing them but I am glad you returned.
It's been less saving for her and more "not really anyone I desperately want enough to go all in", but I have 600 SQ and around 200 tickets ready for her (and Summer 5).
Originally I was going to skip her because alternate versions of the original Saber tend to avoid me like the plague, but damn LB6 dammit.

You get a lot of tickets, 5 from the rare prism shop each month, one a week from login bonus, and also from various events.
@@MrLeemurman you get 122 tickets if you login every day and monthly exchange them for manaprisms IN A WHOLE YEAR,so even with events,this guy been saving them for almost 2 fucking years
@@blade6965 Again, you are forgetting events and special promos. 2 years of saving tickets should get you even more than 200.
A consolation if you're worried in case you don't get her, but have your own Skadi: They will eventually update the support system to essentially allow three units per slot, so chances are DSS can stick around.
This update is expected next year, but NA might get it earlier like with the coins update.
Honestly considering the support update isnt the type of QoL that usually gets delayed out to their normal time in JP (e.g. interludes/SQs), I highly believe we’ll be getting the support QoL update when anni hits with Castoria because it makes sense to add it then to hype up the completion of the three metas. I’d honestly be surprised if it isn’t mentioned in the AX booth/Anni stream for our 5th Anni update.

Caster Artoria reminds me of the stall trio, Tamamo Waver and Jeanne, all packed into one servant.
Was already gonna roll for her for my space ishtar, but after seeing the no damage team of himeko, merlin, castoria I am super excited to roll for her!
I'm a simple being, if I like the design, I pull. So yeah, I'm probably gonna spend all the SQs I have (including those I haven't farmed yet) for Castoria. Simply because I like her 3rd Ascension. 🤩
After I got her I maxed her and Space Ishtar, which I even grailed afterwords, and now I can farm everything :3

This is the first time I've ever loaded so much SQ to be about 10k+ because I had the experience not getting Merlin for 3k+ SQ and only getting him on a GSSR 2 years later then there's also Reines whom won't show up on my rolls and I only got her through the USO. But after all of that at least I got all non limited servants at NP5 available that time.
Sometimes I wonder what were they sniffing when making her to be able to fit into teams that are outside Arts. But either way, I'm glad that while Arts can't Crit (that's Cas Gil and Lanling's Job) it does hold the advantage on having Casters that can provide them with Fast or Safe Run
Arts can Crit just fine without specialized servants. There's this little thing called 2030.

started saving for her once she first came to JP severs and now i got 6620 SQ saved to get max NP gauge overcharge and i'm still nervous it's not enough. i am honestly hoping they bring the pity system out soon so i can get the other servants i want without fear.

Just came back to FGO a month ago for Castoria, hope 400 SQ is enough to get her. I'm gonna save the rest of my funds for Muramasa
Yay! I have both Space Ishtar and Beserker Musashi at NP2 and Munenori and Lancelot at NP5s. Lucky me!

i got her in np 4 while being f2p, heck the arts np loop is quite awesome with double castorias
The hype for this Servant is unreal. 😵💫😂 People might not even need to roll for her, our friends list will be flooded. Lol
While it won't come into play on her release yet, many people often underrate her Fairy Eyes passive that is unlocked after clearing LB6
It gives her a passive 20% crit chance resistance, and what that means is she won't get randomly crit by any enemies unless they have crit chance buffs active.
It is a surprisingly strong defensive skill and why Morgan who also has it is harder to go down despite being a Berserker
I have over 400SQ and I'm willing to buy a couple packs to get her. Let's pray!

might be an insane move, I just pulled for Merlin (and got him) and now I'll be waiting for a year, until Koyankaya and Oberon come out. I have big dreams of buster farming and being F2P i need A LOT of quartz to make it happen.
In the meantime I'll slowly catch up to the story and max out the servants i already have, I'll expecially shovel buckets of resources in my Karna until he's lvl 120.
I've waited since last September to pull for Merlin, I can wait for 1 other year for the Buster wet dream.
One way Lasangle could prevent skadi's disaperence from the support, is Giving the triple support update early

You keep talking about people who don't have arts teams or arts based attackers, but MOST of my units are arts, and I failed to get Tamamo so my support for CQs are Merlin and Helena, sometimes Waver for farming or a borrowed Skadi. I literally got no arts supports since I never built Paracelsus and stuff. I badly need some support for my arts teams, stall, farm, everything.
I'll take the best shot I've got at her. No doubt she's really good, really cute, and going to leave a big impact on the game. Thankfully the biggest targets I've got besides her come next year so I can throw everything at her banner and hope for the best.
Next year will be hard with muramasa morgan tamamo vitch and oberon sheeess
And to top of it i want to pull shipstar too

Hopefully the JP Pity Summon system comes when Castoria comes because I don't have the necessary USOs to Special Summon her.
"The One who Desires Salvation" is probably a better CE for prolonged CQ fights.
NP overcharge 2 levels 3 times and 4 times if MLB.
yeh, i tried to pull that during Super Orion's banner. After 300sq in, I realized that its not on rateup... but at least i got np3 Orion, but still, great CE yet no rateup

Already saving hard for her. Have 1900 quartz so far and more to come! I plan to NP5 her!

I'm saving for 2 (3) units. My main target is actually Melusine.
About her np OC, There are two servants that make it stupid, and NA is getting one this year, Queen Himiko's np increases party OC by 2 stages, ad her and merlin and unless the enemy has buff strip (wich mind you, it fucks over every servant, not just castoria) you will have a pretty much inmortal comp, the second servant that does this is Morgan, she trades the two stages OC for an offensive np, if we add appends to the mix, you pretty much can have the whole party at 90% while Morgan can fire one np, you then can charge morgan up again and then chain nps to get the two stacks of OC, queen himiko doesn't need to do that but her Dps will really Heavely on carding, with is good on that comp as well because she buffs party crit up so even merlin and castoria cards will hit decently hard
Reines NP also increases OC by 1 stage once the buff comes to global (if you don't have either of the mentioned units) while providing some other nice buffs that mostly don't overlap with Castoria.

Look you say Skadi isn't good for long fights but I've literally hard pivoted from AoE Quick Offense to Hard stall before with Double Skadi getting a Merlin from back line after my DPS died. She is actually pretty alright for stall/long fights. Absolute top teir, no but still decent enough.
Legit can't wait for her, Merlin through me for a loop in my savings, but I'm building up again

Skipping her and saving for himiko since my account is focused on buster servants
So NP levels matter on her huh.. On JP I got my first dupe of her on the last GSSR we had, and never did anything with it. So It's better to upgrade the NP. Guess I'll do that then. I had saved her to upgrade it and run double Castoria but, I guess that's not really needed since she's all over the guest list.
This servant review was pretty informative and much more understandable for a somewhat novice player here in FGO then others. I have Castoria and never really understood how people used her, but I understand a little better now. Would be great if you could do some more servant reviews like this on other servants, or maybe even some guides for stuff like the Arts servants who benefit the most from Castoria and so on since it would help people like me out greatly to understand what's happening. Lol
Yeah NP levels will help, for the increased hit invincibility for overcharge then most importantly the boost in Atk buff. Glad the video helped a bit.
I mean you can’t have 2 of the same servant be in a single party unless the other double is from support
Some FGO players say that NP levels don’t matter! But they really do! Merlin at NP1 gives you 1000 HP, NP2 1500 HP, NP3 1750 HP, NP4 1850 and at NP5 2000 HP, Tamamo no Mae Caster NP1 gives 1000 HP for one turn and at NP5 you get 3000 HP for one turn.

Already went broke for berserker Musashi without getting a single copy, hope I'll get castoria with anniversary SQ

I hqve qll support casters exept wavern i use castoria in every team hell even castoria skadi when i use a dps with a 50 proc3nt charge ce helps for looping higher hp enemies with np or np 2 4star servants

I was planning on pulling for her only because I want a 5-star saber-face, but wow Castoria is sure broken. I don’t have any sq tho so I’ll have to rely on luck…
atm have 609 sqs n 612 fragments n some tix , adding that with anni sqs ill have like 969 sqs or more (excluding the sqs we will get this month) .

JP support allows u to make 3 support parties for both story and event so people can equip Castoria, Skadi and Meme or waver on your support for people to use.
They really need to give you 6 slots for casters: AoE, ST, Memelin, Waver, Castoria and Skadi. xD

Cus on Paper they seem like they'd be great for most Challenge Quests.
depends on the quest. May be better with a ST NP, but Tamamo and Castoria is great especially the healing and NP spam Tamamo provides.

If I do end up getting her after blowing cash and quartz to NP6 my Bunnytoria (No regrets), I'll be sure to put her in All and keep my Skadi in Caster, for those who still need quick.

Over 1000 quartz and over 100 tickets are ready for Artoria Caster and I still feel nervous about summoning for her. Hope it's more than enough, or the devs implement early pity for the anniversary.

If you cannot get her in Anni , she has so many banners so don't worry.
I have 2 Castorias which I have 1 leveled all the way up to level 90, and don't know if I should use the second one to level up her noble phantasm or level that one up to 90 as well!!🥳🤔👍

I'll probably not unlock her full potential if I get her because I don't have the materials to go for level 10 skills. Hell my other supports like Skadi and Merlin don't have level 10 skills as well and I won't get full levels on them for a long time. That's why I need to compensate with NP charge CE's. I'm so far away from 3 turning anything. Really feels like you need to have level 10 skills in this game.
Hope 2000sq and 200 ticket is good enough.

I spent 160 quarts this year and the monthly tickets and i got 5 ssr and 90 quarts just went for merlin the other 4 was a miracle at this point
@@fseiba6718 Same here actually. I’m kinda worried I might have used up too much luck earlier in the year. I used three multis and got Romulus Q, a week after that I got Jalter in one multi, another week after that I accidentally got Achilles when I did a multi on the Avenger Nobu banner, and a few days ago I got Ruler Artoria in two multis. Hopefully I can still get a copy of Castoria with relative ease, but when is the gacha ever easy?

The real question is "will lesenga give pity for anny" and I would totally love that as it would bring more players into the game as well as almost every servant would be gurenteed if you save.

Saving gets easier each year as I don't want the new units coming out as much as my account is basically Nealy completed. Only need castoria and vitch and I'm set. If pity comes for anny I'll have them both gurenteed.
Agreed, while i dont have as much (due to musashi and Thanksgiving banner) im at a respectable 350 SQ and 85 Tickets, the game its really fun when you get into the "endgame" but having not even a bit of pity makes it hard to play at moments.
Idk man, seems like i won't get castoria this year, i save 350ish SQ 200 spend on Musashi only to get CARmilla and 2nd OKKI, and 150 in Merlin, luckily I got him and 1 copy of sumanai now im left with only 7 sq and yeah probably wont get her but I'll still roll. The best thing about Castoria is that she makes mediocre arts servants very good. So if that is your main playstyle, definitely go for it. Plus you'd be helping friends with your support list.

im going for castoria as i was bitch slap in the face by summer musashi in a single ten draw yesterday. Also as new f2p player I hope I got castoria, so far I have 89 sq and 15 tickets

so for me saving its not something i do anymore, the disappointment almost made me quit.

Sitting at 800 quartz exactly as of today along with 42 tickets. Here's to hoping they give us the pity system early so that I can guarantee Castoria even if RNGesus decides to ruin my day lol.

Well, personally I prefer Rin over Saber so Rin face would have been my preference....
Not that I don't like Saber, but I like girls with more of a.. kick? to it. Which is why my preferred saber face is of the salter variety. Mordred is nice too.
Ah, also, I know that caster support is just the norm. But.... given how useful they all are and thus me acquiring most of them... I'm kinda low on caster mats.
I am happy, at least, that despite being a saber face, she doesn't need dragon fang. I do have quite a few others and... they ate all of them. I mean it's not just saber face that eats them, but at least for me it's like 80%.
