Absolutely the best treadmill review I've seen to date. I've been shopping for a treadmill and watching reviews for a couple months, probably close to 100 watched. I've been seriously considering this model for about a month and after watching this video I purchased this treadmill online at Dick's sporting goods (60 day wait from the Soul website). In store pick-up tomorrow. Thank you very much.
OMG THANK YOU!!! You are the only demo that showed and explained the wheels and how to move the treadmill!!!!! You covered everything so much better and made my day!!
I just purchased online last week. I have a Pro Form I have owned for 17 years it runs, not like when I had bought it, but I need to replace some things on it . But i came across this treadmill , and it fits my needs, well it's actually for my daughter. I told her investing in your own health is the best you can do. It's always good to buy good treadmills they last for a long time if you take care of them. I'm very happy I made the choice for this treadmill, it looks like a good treadmill to own, and i did really good research on it before purchasing it. I have a spinning indoor bike I love it. I'm adding more exercise equipment to my exercise room.
Just bought this model after seeing your review. This model kept coming up in other's lists of top treadmills for the price, thus I finally pulled the trigger. It arrived within several days of purchase and I had it assembled for only $40 more. Just did a 15 minute test walk at incline and it exceeded expectations. It's quiet, it's solid, and feels good under foot. Thanks for your review!
Great review. I've been looking at treadmills online. You've sold me on this, I think. Excelent detail. Looks like exactly what I need for walking (I'm a big guy and need the extra weight capacity). Thanks for posting this.
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(canyoutalk) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
Going to buy one. I need to lose weight since I started working and stopped working out. I am a sprinter and run an average of 8.6 mph and top speed at 23 mph. Need this since it looks very intense.
A 3 CHP should be plenty for running and regular multiple users. The issue on the cheap machines is the light weight materials in the decks and rollers which lowers the bar for heavy use and running.
*This is the second Treadmill friend I've owned **bestgym.equipment** t was easy to assemble and easier to fold than my last one. The controls are a lot better as well. I give it 5 stars!*
So if I am running 3 miles per day, 4-5 times per week at an average speed of 6.4, is that considered jogging or "heavy use". Assuming I would increase that a little more over a next year. The F63 is my #1 pick at the moment, but not sure if I should go up to the F80. The price diff between the two is a big deal for my budget.
@@bobgunner3086 Running/jogging 12-15 miles per week is what we consider moderate use. You should be fine to do that with the F63 but if you increase that/add people over time it might be nice to have a little bit of a bigger motor. Have you looked at the F65? It might be the middle ground you need here. If you're not willing to up your budget there then we say go with the F63 and see how it goes. Sole builds great machines that are super durable. Let us know what you decide to go with!
13:45 - lets check out the noise as we go from 0 to 15 incline, then speed up , then you proceed to fast forward with background music... Wait! I wanted to hear it's sound! you know, what it'll sound like running in my house!!!!!
Yes it will. We've let one of these run for over an hour an a half in our office before. You will just need to make sure that you do a manual start instead of a pre programmed workout.
Thanks for checking out our review Michelle! The F63 is great for walking and jogging and light daily use. If you are going to run much at all we recommend getting a treadmill with a larger motor. Like all treadmills, the F63 isn't going to be extremely quiet but if you are only walking and jogging, you should be just fine with the noise level. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
What treadmill within this price range is best that has a 15% incline? My criteria I’m looking for is 15% incline and folding. 900 is kind of pushing it but may be doable. What about the Horizon 7.0AT? It’s on sale but not sure about the horizon brand. Thanks!
This treadmill has an incline range of 15%. It's a great machine for it's price range. We would also recommend checking out the NordicTrack 6.5 Si treadmill, it only has a 10% incline but it's right in line with this price range. Horizon's treadmills are good but we recommend NordicTrack, Sole, or ProForm before going with Horizon. Let us know if you have any follow up questions.
Hi! You seem like you are very knowledgeable on treadmills, i am 62 yrs old and wont be doing a lot of running. Mostly walking for exercise, I want the quietest possible treadmill and preferably a folding model due to lack of space. My husband would use it as well and he is 6’2” and approx 280#. Somewhere i have seen screens that you can walk through mountains and cities and i would love that as i think it would make walking the treadmill enjoyable. Is there a model you would recommend?
Thanks for checking out our review! Great question! Sole treadmills are great and very durable but none of their treadmills have screens on them with built in workout programs. For that we would recommend you look at the NordicTrack 1750 or the ProForm SMART Pro 2000. Both of these treadmills have smaller screen on them with some built in workouts. If you want to use all of the workouts you will need to get an iFit subscription. If you want a bigger screen you will want to consider looking at the NordicTrack 2450 or the 2950. Here are our written reviews for a few of these. Please let us know if you have more questions: www.treadmillreviews.com/nordictrack-commercial-1750-treadmill-review/ www.treadmillreviews.com/proform-pro-2000-treadmill-review/ www.treadmillreviews.com/nordictrack-commercial-2450-treadmill-review/
Yeah that would be great, you could even jog more than that. When you get into the heavy running, that's when we recommend getting a machine with a larger motor. Also, when we say heavy running we mean running for 45 minutes to an hour 4-5 times a week.
Could you tell me how high off the ground the deck sits? I'm just trying to figure out if it will work in my basement, since the ceilings aren't very high.
That should be fine for this machine if you're going to be the only one using it. If there are multiple users you might want to consider upgrading to the F80.
You should be fine for that, you could also consider looking at the Sole F65. It will give you just a slightly larger motor to handle your running. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Great question! This is an older version of the machine. You can see a review for the current 2020 model of this machine here: th-cam.com/video/ink1JYFzusA/w-d-xo.html

I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to years of use from the this treadmill. I didn't want to break the bank, but wanted a treadmill that would give me years of service.
My brand new sole F63 squeaks.. Two tech trips later, haven't owned it for one month yet, Tech says to ask for a replacement. Now Sole says to send them a video of the squeaks... Not sure, but this might be a dud treadmill... I do see others posting about squeaking.
Thanks for checking out our review. We're sorry that is happening to your treadmill! We haven't experienced the squeaking on our F63, but we can look into it a little more for you. Good luck getting this figured out, let us know what the result is.
WHAT TO EXPECT OF THE 2023 SOLE F63, Well I know as I got one yesterday. SOLE took away several things from the older F63. 1. Missing the toggles switches on the side rails (that was the selling point for me that I wanted), 2. you don't get a HR strap, 3, No lever to release the foldup, 4, the console is totally different. They took away the amount of things you got with the older version. NOT WORTH IT !!!! The selling point that got me to buy the F63 was the toggles on the side rails!
