You are a lifesaver. I’m a 23 year old petite female and was able to put this together by myself with your help!! Saved me tons of anger lol thank you!
THANK YOU. I didn't find this video when I put the thing together the first time. It was RAGE INDUCING. Your directions helped me disassemble it when I moved, and they're helping me put it back together now. You are a GODSEND.
I had anxiety, dreading putting this thing back together after relocating it to a different bedroom. This video made it simple and to the point I had no issues with zero confusion. Absolutely perfectly instructed.
Thank you so much brother, my wife and I were dyin at the 8:20 time... we were trying to figure that out for an hour! After your video I was able to do it in 5 minutes.
Thanks for the video, my F63 is sitting in the garage waiting for my friend to come over tonight and help me haul it upstairs. I unpacked everything except the base. I'm a "visual learner" so reading the instructions then watching your video was very helpful. I'll probably reference your video again when I start to put it together tonight.
A Vietnamese friend of mine helped me get the old treadmill down the stairs and out of the house but there was no way the 2 of us were getting the F63 up those narrow stairs. He called on his wife, sister, and Mom to come help LOL. They got it up into the bedroom, he told me they were used to hard work in the fields of Vietnam. I started putting the F63 together and after around 2.5 hours and a lot of profanity I was finally finished. To my amazement it actually started up and ran OK. It's lucky the unit folds up because I failed to compare the length to the old one and it's quite a bit longer.
For anyone that has issues with the console wiring like I did, the wires need to be outside the railing cavity before you slide the console in place. You'll tuck them into the cavity after you've screwed the console in place
Thanks for your help. The only problem was when I was following your instruction I would pause the video and do the work. I fully tightened all the screws and I returned to your video only to hear you say not to tighten the screws all they way. 16:35 I'm getting the same thumping noise as you. I let it run a few minutes at max but it still hasn't gone away.
You’re very welcome sir. Very glad my efforts help others. Thanks for supporting my channel by watching. I hope you and yours are well and enjoy your new treadmill 🙂✌️❤️
Thank you for your video - one question - I am having problems getting two of the 4 bolts that secure the console to the masts to screw in completely (about 8:39 in your video). They screw in okay to start but then get stuck with about 1/2 inch left and simply will not budge. I've tried switching the screws around and it's the same two ones - it seems the second hole isn't drilled properly. On the left side the issue is the top bolt and on the right side it's the bottom bolt. The other two have no problem at all. The plastic posts are in the metal arm as they should be. Any ideas on what is wrong?
Very happy to know my efforts helped with your assembly. It is what I hoped to be able to do in making this video. Enjoy that treadmill and thank you for your support. I hope you and yours are well.
Thank you so much for your demo. It made my assembly so much easier. I had no issues because of how you counseled about possible pitfalls. The unit was delivered today and it is assembled and running today. Thanks again.

@@MasteringMayhem Thanks. Having a bit of a problem. When inserting the console after connecting the speed and incline cables, the speed cables go in the way of four button head socket bolts, I am afraid of pinching them when screwing the bolts. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Do I have to place the cables on each side of the holes?
@@lucca81 You should be able to tuck the cables into the hand rails out of the way. When you screw the bolts in just take your time and you shouldn’t pinch the cables. I hope that helps?
@@MasteringMayhem I did it! I checked you F80 assembly video and you insert the console into the tubes before connecting the cables. Thanks for your quick reply! Appreciated.

I just finished the assembly of my new Sole F63 Treadmill and after watching this tutorial for the 2nd time. It all worked out great. Using that tape to hold the tiny screws was a great, idea it really helped. The thumping sound on this video much louder than mine. It did last for about 10-15 minutes before it went away. I did not have to use any additional foam mats for the treadmill industrial carpet on top of the cement was perfect. I am so thankful to mastering Mayham for filming this for us newbies.

@@marioa2753 Hi, when I called SoleFitness they said 60 days for delivery. I ordered it 11-28-20 and received it 01-11-21 44 days. Hey man - great video; useful! Question though - is there a knack to aligning the arm covers? I’ve just got a TT8 with the same covers, and they don’t sit flush with the console, particularly at the front...I’m assuming the console isn’t fitted correctly, but I’ve done it twice and took lots of care. Any ideas?
It’s just fidgeting with them until they line up. I’m sorry I don’t have any tips on that, other than, don’t get too aggressive with trying to force them to line up, most of the time they will line up easily rather than being difficult. There may be a plastic tube in the arms that go into the metal arms and you have to make sure that the plastic tube is lined up with the hole in the metal arm to get everything lined up. Let me know if that helped at all? 🙂✌️🙂
Forgot to reply, but I ended up taking the console off and resetting it so the covers aligned better. There’s quite a lot of play in it and the holes when aligned properly isn’t necessarily the best place for the covers to align!
I’ve had the same issue. The arm cover on the left fits flush but the right one the side slots don’t align. Almost have to pull the console arms apart to get them to slide in the uprights and it’s still not perfectly centred. Any suggestions? All bolts left loose also, seems like little play to move much
How heavy is the main running deck part "before assembly"? I assume it is the heaviest part. How wide is it? Will it slide down a straight 31" wide basement staircase? I guess I can slide down sideway though. Thanks.

Have a question with Safety Key , the panel keeps on displaying need Replace Safety Key even after the Safety key is in the slot any suggestions on how to address the issue? . It’s a new F63 which was working .
I just got this treadmill and removed the velcro belt that was keeping the base flat so now it’s inclined and I’m not sure how to make it flat again so I can put this machine together. Any suggestions before I call for professional help?
I need help! I removed the shipping stripe and consequently safety pin before assembly. I saw the big yellow note that said don’t do it after. can I assemble this anyway? 🤦🏻♀️
How did you check to make sure the cables don't get pinched on the tubing? I can't get the white connector to go all the way into the handle, so I don't know where to let this white connector sit inside the console
@@heidiho3089 ya don't try to push it into the handle pole. Just have the wires slack but connected outside the arm, fit up the console with the frame (keeping the wires out of the way), bolt up the console (snug), and then fit as much as you can into the remaining cavity. Afterwards there is a cover that slides up and you can hide whatever is left using the cover.
It says you are supposed to have three feet of clearance at the end of the treadmill. Is that just in case you fall off. I noticed the customer had no clearance at all.
Hi, our outlet won’t reach the chord, do you have a recommendation for an extension cord or surge protector where I won’t trip the power and can reach the outlet. It does say not to use an extension cord. TIA
This one of the best ones out there, hopefully 7 feet is long enough: Tripp Lite SUPER7B 7 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 7ft Cord, Right Angle Plug, 2160 Joules, Black, & Dollar 75,000 Insurance: amzn.to/3c0QucD
the latest manual says the following: "DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD UNLESS IT IS A 14AWG OR BETTER, WITH ONLY ONE OUTLET ON THE END: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISABLE THE GROUNDED PLUG BY USING IMPROPER ADAPTERS, OR IN ANY WAY MODIFY THE CORD SET."
Doesn’t have to be plywood. I recommend a thicker rubber mat to keep the treadmill from possibly sliding around. Hard plastic or plywood may allow the treadmill to slide. Let me know how the treadmill turns out. Thanks for supporting the channel.
I have an issue, I was that person who took off the belt and because I tried to line it up on the floor mat and in doing that it raised up , it’s on a incline, How do I get it back down?
There should be an indicator on the hydraulic bar that keeps the belt up when you want to store the treadmill. Just use your foot to push the lower half of the hydraulic in a little but to allow the top portion of the hydraulic to slide into the lower portion, this is what will take the hydraulic bar out of the ‘locked’ position. The belt and base of the the treadmill should then slowly drop back down to the floor. Let me know if that helped or if I didn’t address the issue.
Great video! I get mind delivered tomorrow 1/11/21. This will definitely help with my assembly. Will let you know how it goes. I do have one question. I am putting this in my basement on a thin industrial carpet. Do you recommend getting the foam mats or would that throw off the balance of the treadmill. Thanks!
I think the thin industrial carpet would work fine by itself but if you wanted to add those foam pads they shouldn’t throw anything off. Let me know how it all turns out.
Maybe Captainkilluminati is talking about the routing of the cables from the console to the posts. That's what I watched for and was hoping to see but that didn't happen on video. The directions just say tuck them into the rails but I feel like I'm missing something because it seems they are tucked pretty tight.
I just purchased and assembled this treadmill. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it out of demo mode. I have held all 3 buttons for over 10 seconds and got nothing. Can you explain exactly how you did it?
Great video! I'm looking at buying one of these used from craigslist. Any tips on or things to look out for because i will probably have to disassemble to fit it in my vehicle.
Your video was really helpful, but SOLE needs a better way to install the handlebar covers on the console assembly. You have to be a contortionist with X-ray vision to assemble them. I used tape, magnetic screwdrivers, everything I could think of including watching several others videos as to how others solved the issue as to how to attach them. After several dozen attempts I was ready to duck tape them in place. The rest of the assembly before and after was not a problem, but the handlebar covers are a pain in the butt. It shouldn't be that difficult. 4.5 for the treadmill and a 0 for the handlebar covers.
Hey what is the padding you have in your room? From amazon? Is there any way I can get a link? Thank you 👍 awesome video btw. Mine should be here next month 😂
I assembled it for a customer but that padding is what you would find on Amazon, in WalMart, or I think even Harbor Freight has padding like that. You can get more rugged 1/2” thick rubber mats @ Tractor Supply if you’d like as well. I hope that helps.
The booklet instructions are so bad and the pictures so tiny. Without this video it's very hard to put it together (the small screws are so hard for the cover). Thanks!
The biggest problem I had, was trying to understand how to orient 62, 63's, 64 and 65 in the beginning since you really don't explain it with any detail, and then speed up the video so it blows by so fast, I had to slow it to 1/2 speed and replay it 10 times. Even the diagram in the book is not a good representation of the parts 64 and 65, because mine don't exactly look that way. I ended up guessing my way through the first part.
Sometimes I don’t get the best edit or the content as I would like, or while I’m assembling for the client I move on to the next next step without checking my camera. I hope to get better at that.
@@MasteringMayhem The fact that you took the time to share this assembly, made our lives easier. Thanks for all your work. I waited 63 days to get this delivered from the factory so in comparison, taking a couple days to finish this project is a big improvement.

I just got this treadmill and removed the velcro belt that was keeping the base flat so now it’s inclined and I’m not sure how to make it flat again so I can put this machine together. Any suggestions before I call for professional help?
Damn! I have been searcing and searching for an answer to this question. I see you didn't get an answer either. Did you figure it out?? Thank you.
@@SLBTLover2me too, please did u figure it out?
I need help! I removed the shipping stripe and consequently safety pin before assembly. I saw the big yellow note that said don’t do it after. can I assemble this anyway? 🤦🏻♀️
Mine arrives in a few days and this has already been very helpful. Thanks for posting.
You’re very welcome. I hope your assembly goes smoothly. Thank you for supporting the channel. All the best to you and yours.
Why does the frame base not come attached?
How did you check to make sure the cables don't get pinched on the tubing? I can't get the white connector to go all the way into the handle, so I don't know where to let this white connector sit inside the console
Did you figure it out? I am soooo stuck on this step.
Hey, I just assembled mine and I was wondering if lubing it is necessarily. I read the manual and I think it comes prelubed. Should I relube it?
If that oil bottle is full I would live it. Check with your fingers under the belt, if you don’t get any oil on your fingers then definitely lube it.
My Sole F85 was completely dry. Production probably a bit fast these days due to the extra demand for home gym stuff due to covid maybe...
@Peter Rabbit Hmm I might do the same, mine feel a little rough as well.
Thank you!!!!!
It says you are supposed to have three feet of clearance at the end of the treadmill. Is that just in case you fall off. I noticed the customer had no clearance at all.
How long did it take to put it up?
Appx. 3 hours with filming. I’d say it would take between 1-2hours to assemble without filming.
@@MasteringMayhem thank u
Thank you! Very helpful. The Sole directions in both their printed manual and their video were unclear and not very helpful.
You’re very welcome
How long of a screwdriver do you need for the hard to reach parts that you used tape with on the screw?
I’d say at least a 4” long.
@@MasteringMayhem thank you
I set it up and it will turn on but it won’t start. Any ideas?
Hi, our outlet won’t reach the chord, do you have a recommendation for an extension cord or surge protector where I won’t trip the power and can reach the outlet. It does say not to use an extension cord. TIA
This one of the best ones out there, hopefully 7 feet is long enough: Tripp Lite SUPER7B 7 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 7ft Cord, Right Angle Plug, 2160 Joules, Black, & Dollar 75,000 Insurance: amzn.to/3c0QucD
the latest manual says the following: "DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD UNLESS IT IS A 14AWG OR BETTER, WITH ONLY ONE
OUTLET ON THE END: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISABLE THE GROUNDED PLUG BY USING IMPROPER ADAPTERS, OR IN ANY WAY MODIFY THE CORD SET."
@@SaltySparrow I read that so what do you recommend?
@@MasteringMayhem how long is the standard cord that comes with the F63?
Thank you for the step by step! We are assembling today. Do you recommend a plywood platform if it’s going on carpet?
@@MasteringMayhem I see the yellow thing, Not sure if that’s going to work doing it on my own. I’ll check back with you
How to do you change units from miles to km?
Not sure…haven’t worked on that since I assembled it. Sorry.
Thanks for this. Putting mine together tomorrow and now I'm dreading it much less.
Anyone know what size Allen it is?
Sorry, I can remember the size of that allen wrench. I believe the hardware package should have every thing you need to assemble the treadmill though.
Never owned a treadmill so I have a crazy question; why would you need to adjust the belt left or right?
They don’t always arrive ’centered’ and over time, after use, the belt can move left or right a bit depending on the user. 🙂✌️❤️
@@MasteringMayhem Thanks bud...really appreciate the timely response.
Not sure it says it, but how easy is it to disassemble. #movingSoon
How do you just skip the most important parts?
Which parts are those? Most feedback says it’s a great video. What did I skip over?
CaptainKiluminati ... Did he really skip the most important part? What is it then? Tell us...
My screw holes don't line up on step 3 they just won't screw in
Great video! I'm looking at buying one of these used from craigslist. Any tips on or things to look out for because i will probably have to disassemble to fit it in my vehicle.
How'd it go for you?
Your video was really helpful, but SOLE needs a better way to install the handlebar covers on the console assembly. You have to be a contortionist with X-ray vision to assemble them. I used tape, magnetic screwdrivers, everything I could think of including watching several others videos as to how others solved the issue as to how to attach them. After several dozen attempts I was ready to duck tape them in place. The rest of the assembly before and after was not a problem, but the handlebar covers are a pain in the butt. It shouldn't be that difficult. 4.5 for the treadmill and a 0 for the handlebar covers.
Lol I just left them off. Way too difficult for no real purpose.
@@MasteringMayhem thank you so much I'll take a look around!
Ordering 1 soon thanks stupid coronavirus making no installment available on delivery
The booklet instructions are so bad and the pictures so tiny. Without this video it's very hard to put it together (the small screws are so hard for the cover). Thanks!
Happy to know this video helped and that it is doing what I intended it to do.
Helpful but you need to use better lighting in the tight spots so the viewer can see what you're doing. Not enough just to tell.
