Nice review - I am surprised you didn't mention the warranty. Sole is one of the few treadmill companies that allows you to put the treadmill in a non-hvac controlled area (ie: garage). Huge point for potential buyers to consider.
Just bought a 2023 model at Dicks Sporting Goods in September, on sale for $999.99, plus $99 for assembly. They must be making room for the 2024. Very solid, no frills, but very solid. Excellent!
@@korzhik13492 When I checked out, The cashier at Dick's didn't inform me of delivery and assembly options. Thus, I had no idea I could order delivery and assembly through their 3rd party. So, I had their staff help load it into my SUV. I drove it home and had neighbors help me move it into the house. We ordered a mat from Amazon that was half the price of the one on Sole's website, but took over a week to deliver. When the mat arrived, I decided to assemble it, but it was too heavy for me to move alone. So I called Dicks to ask them if they knew of any assembly resources, that's when they said, "Didn't the cashier offer you delivery/assembly options?" Of course, I said "no". They told me to bring my original receipt into the store, and they can order an assembly team to my house. So no, I did not pay for delivery, but I guess you could order delivery/assembly when you check out. Sorry to be long winded.
I understand it's a DC motor. Do you believe that a DC motor of 3.0 CHP like this one can endure a 2hrs power walking session (almost every day) by a person of 155 pounds? Maybe I should be looking for AC motors for that kind of use? Thank you for the review❤
I'd rather have no-frills tread. That has easy speed features and if possible, easy incline features. Decline not needed. I just walk and run on it, if I need distractions I use music or the tv. It's very important to me that a tread fit through the door, is lighter weight, and is easy to move around, while still having a 20" width belt. Any narrower, and I catch my foot on the rails and it starts to pitch me backwards. Those features are more important to me than price. I'll pay more for compactness with good performance.
I think the cheapest treadmill that I would also say is one of the tops that offers a decline options would be the nordic track 1750! -3 - 12% decline/incline - Linds
How bad would you say it shakes up around 9 - 10 mph? That's the range I do most of my runs, I don't mind a little wobble but if it's pretty bad I should probably go with another brand.
@@ravensix8080 I did end up going with this one. The wobble isn't bad at all, I don't even notice it unless I'm really watching for it. My only complaint with this treadmill is that the display only shows the mileage to the first decimal point, so it makes it a little difficult to do workouts like 1000's because you have to guess at where the exact stopping point would be.

Thanks for the review! Planning on snagging one of these based on the review
Wait are you reviewing the 2020 model? The link is to treadmill > $999
What would be the closest equivalent machine with decline functionality, in your opinion?

Any plans to review the Sole ST90?
mayyybbbee.. love sole products, so it could be a future review! - Linds

Just a little wobble, I think totally fine to run on, I just wanted people to know that there is some wobble to it at higher speeds. - Linds
@@garagegymreviewseverything Awesome, thank you!
@@clm93ful did you end up buying this one? If so what’s your opinion on the wobble?

Is this the 2023 version?
Def doesn't look like it
No, it isn't. The 2023 model no longer has the control buttons in the arms of the machine.
"friend zone treadmill" 🤣
THANK YOU for laughing at my poor jokes! - Linds
@@garagegymreviewseverything np ha. I just bought this one because of your review and it's been great.
so much talk but no numbers or data sheets...
❤😢
I prefer your videos to show the machine and you can narrate but, you're not even showing demoing...
