I better way to fit this would fitting the barrel clamp for alignment ,then righten up the top 3 bolts

The compact one that I got has a barrel band the same as the long rail.

The barrel tension system with carbon fiber stx barrel liner is all you need (dont bother with the clip support bracket (redundant) the barrel wont budge.

I think for the price you will have to pay new screws should be included. Another expensive add on that may or may not be useful.

So, the whole purpose of the extended rail is simply to put more picatinny mounted gadgets on the rifle, nothing to do with accuracy?

The shroud clamp at the end will improve accuracy just like a bottle barrel clamp dose in a long barrel (less whip less sag when a heavy mod is fitted)
