It is not just about 1 or 2 companies but it is about overall placements, Infrastructure of the College, faculties and many other factors. There are many colleges in which Amazon comes but leaving those 1 or 2 companies, rest all are bullcrap.

The only thing I know is it has to do something with data structures and algorithms. I have hardly any knowledge in data structures and algorithms and I don't know how to get started with it. When I mean how to get started with data structures and algorithms and later competitive programming, I want to know which websites are material do I refer and after learning where do I apply my knowledge (like codechef, codeforce etc.,). If I get stuck somewhere when learning data structures and algorithms or problem solving what do I do. I want to know this and I want to know how exactly would you guys do it from the start if you know like intermediate skills in some programming languages and how to proceed from there.
