the mcq questions of first round are based on some specefic language like if c++,pointers questions or else ds algo,oop based
most of them are logical reasoning and maths based and some were c++ based

If questions i s tough and most of the people are not able to solve, MCQ's remain the only way to select people out of coding round.
Sir, on LinkedIn do unknown people give refferals if a students has an average profile ?
By average, I mean he prepared DSA well but didnt did competitive coding and has no internship experience and has only 2 medium level projects ?
It depends on person to person, you have to messages lot of people and keep trying.. many people dont reply to messages, but yes people do give referrals
As in off campus the first round is aptitute test like numerical computation ,reasoning and so on , can you tell me gmhow to prepare for these kind of stuffs . Thank you in advance
bhaiyaa off-campus coding round ke liye codeforces Karna zaruri hai ki gfg aur leetcode se kam banjaega .
Aur resume mai ratings se fark padta hai kya .
resume me ratings se farak tabhi padega agar bhut achi hai and depend krta hai ke resume dekhne vale ko rating ki knowledge hai bhi ya nhi. Codeforces is good to practice questions i feel but for most companies gfg and leetcode should also suffice if you have done properly.

I am currently working for one of the Big4 with 3+ yrs of experience and I want to join GS but my cgpa in my masters last education is 6.47/10 so will it be impossible?
Going through GeeksforGeeks interview, there are lots of question specifically related to Java concepts
So does Goldman prefers person with Java background
I personally feel it depends upon the people who are taking interviews. If their team requires someone with java skills, they will definitely ask related questions. Ans Java is widely used across various teams in GS
What about the probability questions, do they come in the coding tests and Interviews?

It depends on the position you are going to interview for, for analyst role probability is not asked that much but if you are giving interview for Strats profile, there will a lot of questions related to Statistics / Probability and other mathematical topics.

I think that piece clicking question can also be solved using multi-source BFS right?
user is only clicking on one node so there are no multiple sources, hence i dont think multiple bfs makes sense, only simple traversal of graphs is needed to find next nodes which are unmarked and need to be marked.

Hi. Would like to know if there's any source to prepare for coding MCQ's ?
If you are talking specific to GS interview the MCQs which i have seen in their rounds were mostly based on mathematics or coding. Mathematics is very wide topic to prepare and coding you would obviously do before interview, hence i dont think there is any specific resource to prepare them, you may look up gfg/interview bit etc for past questions though.

Wow..Useful info..but I have a query..I'm a electrical background undergraduate. Currently I'm in 3rd year and due to corona I don't have a chance to have internship and I was in starting of second year due to my lack of knowledge I was not able to make any project....But right now..I have skills in basic data science and ML...is this engouh to apply for a summer intern 2022 at GS? ....or please recommended me skills to learn such that I can get into GS😅
if you want apply for data science role i am not aware about it much.. if you are applying for software dev then ml and data science dont matter you have to be good in ds/algo

If we have made a simple project without any major problem and they ask what problems did you face in this project how to tackle this
One of my project was some HR manager Web app at that time. I consider it to be fairly simple. The problems i said was the once i actually faced like i was mostly into competitive so, learning webd was bit of a work for me. Had to google a lot of stuff in webd which i generally dont like etc etc.

If you are talking about Goldman, then the MCQ questions are mostly related to mathematics and coding only, they are not aptitude kind of questions.

i think i will clear aptitide round of goldman sachs as more than 50 questions may be right but i know only basic coding as i am student of electronics and done project in telecom and internship also in telecom. Is there any possible way to prepare this level of coding in one month. pls eloborate
if you know basic coding i feel it can be prepared in a month by solving as much questions as you can. Focus on solving maximum questions on or other interview sites as in GS i feel new questions are not asked that much its from these sites only.

Which type of project are good for placement .which technology
Type and technology doesn't matter that much. What matters is how you present it to interviewer and how well he understands what you are trying to explain.

generally almost companies me pseudo code likhvate hai.. they wish to know ke you understand the logic and if you can implement in any language, there is nor particular language for interviews.. for online coding round mostly c/c++ java and python are there in options

Please make a video on companies &their intern/placement hiring dates(off campus), i.e. from when do they open applications. It would be really really helpful for tier 2&3 students.
Take your time. Thank you very much.
This is really difficult to make as all the dates keep on changing and are never fixed. Even if I make a video today it might not make any sense tomorrow. The best way is to keep track of linkedin pages of all the companies you to apply for and keep looking at their career websites as well.
Would you mind answering that are there any companies that open their full time/intern position in the month of January-April.

level of mathematics is uptill +2 only but questions sometimes can be quite logical and difficult

One doubt sir. If i apply from off campus with less than 60% marks in engineering. Will i be eligible for interview? I checked the website and mails for other colleges they didn't mention anything about aggregate percentage in engineering (I am in 8th sem currently)

GS doesn't takes ofcampus for freshers, you need to have some experience to apply to GS if it doesn't comes to your college.
